    Damn this project has turned out badass. 6s looks wicked man. Clean build. Looks like the light at the end of the tunnel getting her in ship shape.

    Hey man, that rig looks so badass with the 3s Typhon wing. I’m doing many of the same upgrades to my Lasernut. I broke bread for the vitavon diffs and driveshaft with the hub carriers. I get my vitavon crap today. Still waiting on the motor, servo, and ESC. I got the 6s spectrum ESC, a 30Kg servo, and a X-Team 2150Kv 4274 brushless motor.

    Such a difference from 4s to 6s straight ripper...I wonder how much the weight of the spare rear tire effects the biased front to rear being gone now? Lasernut is on my list man yours is a ripper, respect from Nor Cal

    Just got mine. It’s my firs rock racer? Climber? Rock anything. I’ve always been a need for speed guy. Aside from the fact that the pinion gear was loose out of the box which led to a little scare it’s a cool little truck. Excited to see what you’ve done here

    I read all comments, to date. Oddly I'm the only person found it odd he spent all that money on upgrades, but went cheap on Hex, which honestly shows to be where the money needed to be spent at the 4S level. Alot of the Vitavon stuff is cosmetic eye candy. I myself am more a practical improvements guy. But, for what it's worth I really do like this RC even without the $900 of upgrades.

    • @heavymetalrc7520
      @heavymetalrc7520  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, it really didn't need alot of that. The vitavon diff case it definitely needed though. Stock is known to strip constantly. That bearing is much too small.

    Awesome build! Slowly working on mine. Finally got the GPM steering stuff and lowered the suspension and it handles great for my city bashing.

      Nice job , did you have to do all of the upgrades? Because factory grade didn’t last?
      I have been looking at this lasernut to buy.
      I have a 2.0 E revo 6s VXL and I love the 6s power with control.
      Thanks Robert.

    Hi! Crazy fast in 6S! Tons of tuning parst, the best of best is mounted. And a realy beast, called "Motor"... LOTS OF TORQUE! But... The Bearings in the wheel hubs (right Word? 🤔) The next point to fix? Next step bigger aluminium - hubs with stronger Bearings? 🤔. The next Rims: Aluminium + Loctite 242 blue?... More Power, more Problems... RC - Racer's work is never done...

    Nice rig!! You spent some serious coin on that Vitavon and your electrical upgrades!! The Typhon wing looks way better than a DB pro wing that I have seen on these. 6s is crazy fast!! Try some proline or lockups buggy wheels!! Love the build man!! Stay safe and bash on from Colorado!!!

    Fully upgraded? I’m not 100% sure, but all of the screws used for this lasernut look stock. One of the first things I did when I bought mine was replace them all with stainless steel so the rust wouldn’t be so bad

  • @SebastianLong
    @SebastianLong 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The Lasernut doesn't need 6s, but I'd be damned if it didn't seem like the appropriate battery for it. Probably could use 1 million in the center. I wouldn't go 20 million as I can't imagine it would make it controllable. As far as the adapters go, seems like anything with adapter in the name doesn't last.

    • @heavymetalrc7520
      @heavymetalrc7520  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol Lane you're 100% right about the adapter lol. The center has 1mil already. Great minds think alike.
