    Great job covering the Lasernut. I honestly think this is the best looking buggy out there.

    I love my lasernut, upgraded mine with a stronger servo and tekno cvd front and rear, mounted the db wing on the rear so the weight of the rear tire wouldn’t drag it down in the air, turn up the punch and it still wheelies like crazy

    Great RC. Nothing else like it. As you know it is a U4 racer so I recommend keeping in mind what those courses look like. I also recommend doing yourself a favor and upgrade the rear diff case (vitavon) immediately. This will save money in the long run because all your new parts can be swapped over. I have had my LN since October when they first came out and have well over 100 packs though it. I have a Typhon and Kraton, this is unlike anything. I trail run alot. Have fun!!! (I have upgraded all Vitavon over the last few months cause I could). Servo saver loosens up BTW.

    I bought one and spent $700 on upgrades and I was disappointed on first run. I thought the rear differential blew out. I took all differentials apart. Turns out it was just a rock that was pinned on the rear differential center drive cup. I dropped some silicone earplugs in while I did it, so it worked out.

    That Blue Lasernut is nice rig. I hope you keep the scale look of it. It looks cool with the spare tire. Some change it to a wing and I think it just looks like another same ol buggy. The Vitavon upgrades help with allot of issues these rigs encounter with wear and tear to the drivetrain. Putting a heatsink with a fan will help with motor temps. Again the Lasernut is a Cool Rig!! Stay safe and bash on from Colorado!!!

    • @JasonPerrinRCVlogs
      @JasonPerrinRCVlogs 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I know exactly what you mean regarding the wing. I don't mind the look of the wing but it does make it look like every other buggy out there. Spare tire will be staying!!!

    Hey I also just got mine few days ago! It looks so cool driving around on any surface. I do find the servo a bit weak, understeering a bit on the sippery dirt track. Maybe I need to do some setup of the servo?

    I have had mine for close to a year. I like it alot however the wheels come off. The nut seems to become tighter and it begins to eat thought the plastic and the wheel(s) end up falling off. Has anyone had any luck with a fix to this? I have spend over a couple hundred just replacing wheels.

    I have two of these. One broken"brand new" in the box. The other one works OK, use the first one for spare parts every time something breaks,🙄❕
    Only option I have for repairs to send it back to Horizon, Heaven knows what that will cost. 😏❕ Center differential stripped. Front differential leaks. And nowhere to get it serviced. Tried it myself. Got as far as pulling the diff out, then all the bolts for it stripped. Took every ounce of self-control I had not to throw it in the garbage. 🤬. $535 paperweight.

    I got rid of my Lasernut and kept my DB Pro. The DB Pro handles like a dream. The Lasernut with the big tires doesn't do anything particularly well. If all-terrain basher is what you want, go Kraton. If handling is what you want, DB Pro or something like it.

  • @maxxdavidson7795
    @maxxdavidson7795 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @loum7008
      @loum7008 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure, for dirt track or general bashing. It is absolutely a great rig. For me the DB Pro didn't have enough ground clearance and has a short wheelbase. Over rough terrain the DB couldn't handle what I throw at it. My buddy won't ever go trail running with me with his DB Pro. We just bash.
