- No 15 A walkthrough tour of my Cornish Shrimper 19 pocket cruiser. Morning Vicar. Please bear in mind that she is in the middle of a refurb and parts of her are showing signs of her 35 years of use.
Thanks for this. I had a question put to me about a Shrimper and this gave me all the data I needed. Looks a grand little boat.
Thanks for watching
What a nice footage and introduction to a fab, small boat. Got myself an old english 23 ft.-vessel (Halcyon 23) and love these shrimpers...but they are too expensive here in Germany or Netherlands. Wish you lots of fun and: always fair winds, Best regards, Linus
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for sharing so much informations and experiences about your Shrimper. It‘s my first proud season on board of my own Shrimper MK I (557) - a quite rare boat in Germany. So I am very happy to have found your channel - I always learn something new about the beautiful Shrimper. So keep on „Shrimpfluencing“!
Glad it was helpful! I only started posting because when i was in your position last year, I couldn't find much content. Thanks for watching
A interesting walk through always nice to have a nose around others boats. I liked the jib endless furler much neater. Cheers Ian
Glad you enjoyed it
What a fine boat!
Thank you.
i've always liked these smaller sailboats. thanks for sharing.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching
Beautiful vessel ❤
It really is!
Nice walk thru. I have a Mk 2 Cornish Shrimper 19 (916) in Rota Spain. Nice little boats.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Looks perfect for the US Pacific Northwest.
I’m sure it is. She works perfectly in the estuaries, rias and islands of the south coast of England.
fascinating. i can see some of those mods ending up on Prudence!
Glad you enjoyed it.
great video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching.
Hi - I just bought a full winter cover for my Mk 1. Do you have one and if so is there a knack to fitting it? It comes from CC with no instructions. I live in the Outer Hebrides and we have a few force 12s every winter so it's quite important that I get this right! Love the cockpit table by the way! (Another) winter project for me! Thanks for these videos - always enjoyable!
Hi. Thanks for watching. I don’t have a full winter cover, just tarps. I put the tarp on and basically just rope and bungee it to the trailer.
Wow!
Thanks for watching
Get the 21 I have had both
I’m happy with what I have
Nice walkthrough. What cockpit cushions do you use and do you recommend them.
All the best,
Paul.
I use the big thick red floating cushions you can see in the cabin, personally i don't like them, too thick and they slide around a lot on the smooth gelcoat seats. I'm going to either: Put faux teak on the seats or buy full length cushions that don't slide. I'll keep you informed.
@@Morningvicar OK, good to know.👍🏻
I used mercury 5 and never used more than 50% throttle for my 26feet maxi racer 80, Have you used your outboard more than 80% power?
I rarely use more than half throttle and only then for short bursts
