I found the nitecore NC10000 (li-ion) with a USB-c to Barrel connector, as a backup i use the radiomaster 2 li-ion 5000mah battery with a xt30 to xt60 adapter, with the xt60 to barrel connector. The nitecore Nc10000 has large enough battery to last very long and can be charged with standard USB-C charger.
My power bank sometimes shuts off after a certain amount of time so I was hesitant to try some of these cables. But I shall try it with the cable you mentioned!
Hi. I can't tell you a specific time since it will depend on your goggles and how often you fly and so on, but I can tell you that I fly weeks with it and my walksnail goggles before I put it to charge again, and I charge just because it's low, not because it's finished.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Got myself the Eachine and a similar power bank for my new Skyzones. I'll share my experience for anyone interested in a couple of weeks.
I just bought the DJI Goggles 2 but very displeased about their battery life. I like your video and ask that you tell me very simply, what do I need to buy for a better battery? I don’t know all the technical stuff and just want to know what I need. Please be very specific with the products. Thanks so much
Hi harmonica, Very difficult to do as you want because what you need are Chinese parts which can change name, manufacturers and shape from country to country. In my opinion you need a USB-C PD 10000 mah battery pack, and a usb-c to 5.5 DC which limits the output power to 12 or 9v. I hope this helps
@@NordFPV almost every portable power station like Ecoflow, Bluetti, Anker, Jackery etc has the 12v car socket (I guess its also called a cigarette plug - the thingy u had in the older cars) same, they can handle up to 10A so its more than enough.
For what Orion? That battery has a 2S balance cable and a XT30 if I'm not wrong. Most of the goggles require a barrel connection. So unless you change the connection with an adapter, or cut and solder a new one, my initial answer will be no for most of the goggles.
I’m pretty sure you need both. The PD power bank is the only that will get to the right power, and the cable is the one which will control the voltage and avoid burning your goggles.
@@NordFPV ok awesome, thanks for your quick reply and clarifying! I’m gonna try my hand at powering the new walksnail avatar X goggles I just got in via this method, but wanted to be sure I wasn’t gonna fry them!
Most big powerbanks are actually lipo batteries. I have not seen cases for 21700, not really sure why. I’ve seen a couple of 3D printed options but nothing commercial.

@@kringtheking2657The DJI V2 (not DJI G2) uses 5025 (the "big" connector). What you are saying about the cable is not true, and a very understandable misconception. Normally, and I guess the standard was built for this someone to be the device (laptop, phone, etc), but cables like the one I'm linking, and using here, has the same chip inside the USB-C connector to become that "someone" telling the powerbank how many V they have to provide. When I look at my cables I have some labeled 9v, and some labeled 12v, and If I measure the voltage, as I do in the video, you will see only the powerbank and the cable, without anything else connected on the other end, delivers a different amount of voltage than 5v or the max the USB-C PD port can deliver.

Just be ready to test one more than cable. My advice, but them from a place it’s easy to return if they don’t work as expected
Thank you for this very informative video. yup I agree with the battery cases with fatshark and eachine. They easily damaged.
They are still useful, but unfortunately they get damaged easily.
How much time to get with this big power bank . How much time please reply 😢

what about the barrel/usb C cable that comes with the goggles 2 ? Is that cable actually actively passing the right voltage?
Yes. But it has some kind of special
