    This is a very interesting challenge but, boy oh boy, that diet is what nightmares are made of. Seeing this video endorses my opinion about the importance and usefulness of a small kitchen garden; being able to go outside and pick a cucumber, tomato, sweet pepper, eggplant, hot pepper and fresh herbs from plants that can grow easily on a fence and in a few pots - FREE!

    $400 is doable. I did it as a usc student in st augustine for 3 years (graduated last year) and I'm not talking ramen and junk food but pretty nutritious food. One of my tricks was to buy in bulk with other persons and no meat but lots of peas, beans and veggies.

    I am trying to figure out why you didn’t use seasoning. Don’t you have a small kitchen garden at least?I find it hard to believe that your wife is eating good tasty food in your presence and you are living like a bachelor who is not from trinbago cooking food without seasonings and much colour. You should have started the challenge with a weigh in and ended with the same so we could see what effect these meals would have. When I was a very low income earner, my go to meals were pasta and tuna and various sandwiches.

    • @TrinbagoVibes
      @TrinbagoVibes  ปีที่แล้ว

      Now started the small kitchen garden, lost some tomatoes to nemotodes and well the shadon beni now started to grow as well as the chives…so I went with the basic salt, onions and garlic, but yeah she was eating the good stuff and was feeling sorry for me. Never thought about starting with a weight in, that’s a good idea
