Those blue water filters are better than nothing, need to at least filter out sediment, a generator is a must for us, we dryccamp a lot and need it for cloudy days. Only use an inverter type, we have the steady fast x3 , a permanent install. Larry
Thanks for sharing Ron is a heavy walker as well and those extra stabilizers are interesting. Liked the Sumo Springs promo we have decided this is going to be something we are going to add next year. Always love the collaborations!
our generator is in the RV and I think stabilizers too 🤷🏻♀ lol~~. we could use some new filter thing.. the "GREEN ONE" is the one we are using. (if it isn't broke). THAnKS guys for the video!!
Thanks for the info; good stuff. I appreciate the explanation about the water filters. We recently stopped using the blue cannisters, too. I also like the stabilizers. My wife is the heavy walker so she might think we don't need those...we'll see. Have fun with the campground boondocking!
OK.. So we are in design & build mode on our HDT. Generator a must and due to you we are looking at dual fuel cause those Onans will break the bank. I'm gettin older but I still have spring g in my step so stabilizer legs will be on the list. You got it now, but a battery bank in the truck and the rig when we get it....solar to help power it...a must...along with the Generator. Star Link or something to keep us connected to TH-cam & Hockey 😊😊😊‼️
@gsolo328 Everyone. We are trying to help other RVers by telling them what not to waste their money on and suggesting things that could make their RV experience more enjoyable. If you are somewhat handy, you can make your own 3 stage water filter for half the price. I’ve found that using 6 inch wooden blocks with a rubber pad on it helps great on stabilizing the trailer. No need for the snap pads. I’m surprised nobody has mentioned “solar” as something you don’t need!
Yup sometimes you may not need them but you want them! I think a generator is a must have if your full time living. Also drinking water etc… you really don’t know the must have’s until you travel for a period of time. Great share y’all ~Mel & Nette
We don’t live in our camper so the inline water filter does great. I guess if we lived in our camper the blu tech would be the filter to upgrade to for sure! Thanks guys! Jeremy
Never thought we needed a generator and we never really did need it.. until we needed it... so glad we got the Champion. Glad we are doing these Collabs with you guys! Been lots of fun
Great collaboration! I would use them all. Great tips on using these items. I agree with Leslie on those straps. Great idea on needing them. Great video.
Yes, Camco filters are complete garbage. The Clear2o are good but you have to put the water pressure regulator before the filter (no more than 60 psi) and then you do need to open up and clean the big DirtGuard (top) filter by scrubbing it down. We like the Clear2o but we also have the BLU Technologies three stage filter with the water softener. We still use the Clear2o for the 60-gallon water bladder.
You two are awesome!! Thank you so much for honoring fallen military members at the end of your videos. Such awesome respect. Thank you!!!🪖🇺🇲
It is our pleasure. We hope to keep the memories of our fallen alive as long as possible. 🇺🇲
Agree with the generator. Peace of mind but not needed all the time. Thanks for the tips!
We love our generator for sure! I’m going to check out those stabilizers, thanks for sharing! - Mike and Shelley

The stabilizers definitely help a lot. Happy travels.
Good to know!👍🏼😎

We remember a conversation ...... "we don't really boondock" 🤣 Generator has saved us several times
😂
We have been thinking about getting that filter system - just seams easier
We use our generator when traveling on hot days to run a/c, only way to keep class a cool.
Right now we have to have a generator until one day we might get some solar. But to us, it is a necessity as a backup definitely. Great video guys!
Exactly, it's a back up necessity! Thanks for watching 😊
We do use an outdoor filter and a Brita. We are water snobs and do use bottled water when we are on the road. We will check out the Blue Tech!
We still used bottled water when we are out exploring too but we should probably do better with that. You know....save the planet and stuff. lol

Thanks. We can't wait to try some off grid and Harvest Hosts.
As long as you have the proper equipment to support your hose
🤣

Good information. Very sad ending. 🥺
Good stuff. We had the Valterra Brace and we broke it. I will tell you the story over a bourbon. Haha.
Did you say Bourbon?😂 Sign us up!
Another RV infomercial.... Greaaattttt
Just trying to help. Take it or leave it.

@@WaywardWaggs nice! Now I know. I'd promote that, but that is just me.

Solar is a good one that you don't need. We agree that solar is a luxury not a necessity.

It is trial and error on must have items. We have probably wasted more money than we should have on buying stuff we didn't need.

Omg, we definitely need the water pressure! Oh come on the water hose works just fine.😁 Did you guys say rocking…😂😂
🤣
Love your take on this collab. Definitely want a proper water filtration system at some point - excited to see the boondocking videos!
The boondocking is going to be fun. 😁
Never thought we needed a generator and we never really did need it.. until we needed it... so glad we got the Champion.

The Champion generators are great. We love ours but we wish it was a little more powerful.
Great collaboration! I would use them all. Great tips on using these items. I agree with Leslie on those straps. Great idea on needing them. Great video.
Great collaboration guys! I’ve never seen anyone with more hats than you two. Where and how do you store them?
We do have a lot of hats. We fit them in the closet somehow. 😁

Ok I just check into the blu tech I see there a water softener to do we have to use salt to clean to softener out just asking
We have an "On The Go" water softener. We use salt to recharge it. I am not sure if BluTech uses salt to recharge theirs. I am sure they do.
