I lived in a villa on a golf course in Mexico halfway down the fifth fairway. When balls weren’t landing in the pool or breaking the terracotta tiles on the roof, the golfers were coming into your shrubbery and chopping it to bits to get that shot. It’s not exactly a really nice thing to do in somebody’s garden, and it’s not all that cracked up to be living on a golf course. Especially not for €6 million
