If you have been thinking it's been so long since you've been to a Buckinghams' concert, well, that's true enough. Happy to share an excerpt from full length concert from not long ago. Enjoy - เพลง
I’m 65 and I love seeing and listening to the music I grew up listening to, these guys are just as awesome as they were in the 60’s and 70’s
Lifted weights in Vegas with bassist Nick. Good guy!!
Let’s be honest, all the 60’s groups who are still performing, most no longer with original members, and those who are performing no longer have their A game, but God bless them for keeping their music alive and taking us back in time with them
Agree. I think they only have to have one surviving member of the group to legally be able to perform under the group's name (something like that, anyway). Doesn't work when the only surviving member isn't the lead vocalist. At that point, it's basically a new group.
There are 2 originals in this group
@@canarsie56 Yes but the original lead Dennis Tufano is not here....
Absolutely and still awesome despite not having their A game..
@@sgold989 I agree. I have seen videos of Chicago and Three Dog Night in their newest lineups and they are sad. This soundspretty damn good.
I was a professional musician for 50 years. I used to play a lot in Florida. Played a wedding at Disney World in a hotel ballroom in the late 80’s. One night Carl and Nick and band were playing in the next ballroom. Saw them in the men’s room. We said hello. Didn’t shake hands. Lol
This was the sound track to my seventh grade love life
These guys can play and sing with the best of them. Super band , very versatile.!
Two of their best songs. Still sound good.
Shout out to the original bass player.. Nick Fortuna. Good to see him still doing his thing.
I saw them once in about 1985.. they were with Gary Lewis and the Playboys, the Grass Roots, the Buckinghams and then the Turtles in about 1985 in Ann Arbor.. great show
The Buckinghams were featured headliners in my high school auditorium in 1967 (Shawnee Mission South in Overland Park, Kansas). Their opening act, believe it or not, was The Who!
@chi sam It certainly did. I have some candid black and white photos of Roger Daltry and Pete Townsend at the hotel where they stayed, taken by my friend and hotel manager Joe Ross. Awesome pics.
That is cool! I was born and raised in Kansas, didn't get to see them but have their '45s, ha ha. I got to see Kansas back when they were first starting out at FHSU in the early 70s. That is totally awesome tho with The Who also, have their albums also!
That must have been awesome to experience!!
Sorry. That didn’t happen. They were already famous in 1965
@@grouchosays It most certainly did happen. Yes, they were famous, and they were paid handsomely to appear at our high school with opening act, The Who. A simple internet search can confirm. I have the ads, the yearbook insert, and candid photos. Yep, they appeared at Shawnee Mission South High School.
Great sound...grew up with this mudic...a time of sweet innocence, and great music...
I go see the Buckinghams every chance I get. They always do a great job.
I've seen Dennis Tufano once. He was great, but seemed to prefer doing Bobby Darin and other oldies over Buckinghams tunes.
Sounds like we sounded drunk back in 1968. Loved it in Nam 69 -70
I just saw the Buckinghams as a warm up group for Hermits Hermits in Lancaster, PA last month and they were awesome. I was a young child when they had their “hits” and I loved listening to them on my older sister’s AM/ FM radio.
Real music!
Gotta love Carl and the guys! The band is wonderful! The Buckinghams always put on a FANtastic show!
Carl and Nick ... the only original Buckinghams in this group, right?
@@basilmarasco1975Dennis Tufano, the REAL lead singer, is touring on his own and his shows sound better because it’s the right lead voice. I’ve heard Nick and Carl and they’re good, just not as good.
The Buckinghams and Gary Puckett are my two favorite bands from the 60's. I do love the Buckinghams just a bit more than The Union Gap
I remember their hits song when I was in Grammar schools in early 60's. Also the TV series The Rat Patrol!👍💓
Carl and Nick have done such a good job maintaining the sound...so many of these older bands are not able to make it sound as close to the original and these guys have done that-even though Carl was originally the backing vocalist to Dennis Tufano who left pretty much at the peak of their run.
LOVE THEM. BOUGHT DON'T YOU CARE AND MERCY MERCY MERCY AND FOUND OUT HOW WELL MARTY GREBB SUNG ALONG WITH DENNIS TUFANO, THEIR LEAD SINGER
No Dennis no Bucking hams
So true!
Absolutely
What a band!
Great stuff. Awesome Epiphone and look for guitar player and keyboards sound fantastic. Horns are super... great work everyone. We ARE LISTENING.
I also noticed he's playing that Epiphone and not a Gibson !!
This was such a great time for fun music...a lot of great NRG!
Sounds really awesome !
Wow!Fantastic!!
God bless them!
This is wonderful
these guys and the originals had a tight sound and singer.
Best song ❤
It’s all bout having fun and memories
Love this song and haven't been following them for years. Who is still left from the original band?
He doesnt have that original Dennis Dufano high voice quality
It is either a lousy microphone or the amp is not turned up.. I have heard him recently and he sounds better.. I admire the fact the Dennis was never "overdubbed", like others ( Gary Lewis comes to mind )...
@@1953childstar This not Dennis Tufano...he should be singing Carl is weak!
Yep, the voice is gone along with that phoney falsceto
I always loved their music ... til now...
The guy is not young anymore...and most probably have difficulties....JUST ENJOY THE MUSIC.
Alright!!!
HEY ,Tommygirl Where are you? Its Dennis . .Hope all is well. Love to here from you. God bless.
Not the same without Dennis Tufano. He was the voice of the Buckinghams.
BINGO
S
exactly!
ISnt that the lead singer Dennis Tufano????????????
No, it's Carl G.
@@gacj2010
proof once again the need for The Wrecking Crew...
Looks like Lambs Farm. 104.3
Grupaso de england
From were they came from
Just encompassing a few remarks...the 60's brought R&R into the classical music it will one day be thought of. It was R&R, not the early Rock of the 50's nor the heavier Rock of the late 60's-70's. It's just not your definition of R&R. Second, I've seen both Carl and Dennis separately sing maybe 10-15yrs ago now. Carl's voice was strong and spot on and had me wondering if he'd been lead voice, they'd still have been great. I agree he sounds weaker and flat here but what's he 75y/o +/- in this? I'm sure he's got good and bad days, who don't?
Always Thought they were great
who is singing ? Noone I I have ever heard or seen .. Is this a cover band ?
Is this a senior's tour ?
Is that Donnie Dacus on vocals and guitar?
That's Dave Zane
Donnie days us great singer guitarist who contributing to Chicgo hot streets al um. Songs
Donnie Davis who contributed to league guitar and lead singing and high backups on the Great Hot Steets album 1980
Oh my….what a lead singers voice….what a band. Rushes of endorphin good memories flooded in here on this one when this country was truly the best country in the world. Sadly, if we don’t turn this ship around from this current administration these days are gone FOREVER!
No lea singer is not that good...the original lead siner is Dennis Tufano...you tube him he is great...this guy is no so good!
get off the political bullshit .this is about music ..
@@dennislalka7965 he’s awful now. Poor pitch.
@@dennislalka7965 Yeah, but this guy was the original lead guitar player. That counts for something.
This is real music...
They sound very professional almost like the original recording. No sour notes or out of tune like some local bands. The singer sounds excellent for his age.
Hello! I agree, excellent performance all around, including the lead vocal , the original lead Man on vocals outstanding, thanks!
Where's Dennis?
Is Dennis the once lead singer ?
Is that the original lead singer?
@@redgrapeskins Didn't think so. This singer sounds nothing like the original. Not very good at all, IMO.
@@JoeBlow-fp5ng I agree!
Not original singer, Dennis.
I think the guitar player is a Facebook friend.
Yukkkkkkk😝
There"re not what they used to be!
They lose their strength of air and voice but good try
Sorry .... the years have not been kind .... :-( Give it up guys .... and I'm Class of 1967.
what is the name of the singer of the group the buckinghams,
Dennis Tufano, who is not here.
Ohh ..who is singing here@@souldeep69
Great band back in the 60's !! Lead singer has lost his voice pretty much.. Perhaps he was just mic'd up bad???? Sounds a little weak to me... :( I have all their music from the 60's...
In the first place, this ain't rock and roll! It's pop music. Second, no offense to Mr. Giammarese, but The Buckinghams without Dennis Tufano sound like a generic oldies cover band.
Yes, Dennis was the best singer and the best looking one in the band!
I must agree
That is Dennis….
Good musicians…..anybody heard Dennis T lately?…..at least this guy’s weak voice can stay on tune…..why not pull a Journey’s deal and go for a young kid on his way up with strong pipes? Their instrumental is solid.
@@1953childstar No it’s not
That can't be the original singer. He sounds like Bill Murray.
sings flat. Just "live karaoke".
Still prefer Dennis Tufano singing these songs
The lead singer is awful.. I’m sorry but he is
Thats because the real lead singer is Dennis Tufano...he is tremendous!
You can tell its phoney
The drummer is lame!!
Tom Sheckel was outstanding
He is dressed just like the old people here in Florida who play shuffleboard. Terrible
at least he is not a big fatty
That's really bad
