1960's Rock Group The Buckinghams, featuring Carl Giammarese and Nick Fortuna, perform 7 songs from their Pool Deck concert on the 2016 Flower Power Cruise.
So amazing that years later they still sound great. And still so much better than the "music" on the radio today. The 60's music was the best and always will be.
The backup singer/guitarist with dark print shirt is an absolute dreamboat!! I think i have a major crush! When he sings This Boy im in an alternate universe!
I'm in the pool, front and center - in the black one piece with the big X (criss-cross) on my back, my hair wet... I LOVED this cruise and these guys, who I was lucky to party with in the Rendezvous Lounge one evening! (I think it was the Rendezvous lounge... the top deck club).
I loved watching that video!!!! Wish I were there. I had pneumonia at that time, almost lost the battle. Who else was on that cruise?? Is there anymore?? PLEASE... Thank you for posting this. Just loved it!!!!!
Dennis Tufano still maintains a cordial relationship with the band, and at times performs with them. He has chosen a different musical path these days. He has a wonderful show showcasing the songs of the great Bobby Darin. It's a show not to be missed if you are a Dennis Tufano fan.
Dennis can sang. His voice is one of a kind. I truly hate he left the band. Dave could certainly take over the lead singing duties. He has the chops for sure !!
Lead singer is the only one. Typical for early-mid 60s bands to have only one original member left. This band was actually DONE by 1968 so its amazing they are still in some demand for shows.
@@steveludwig4200 Hi Steve. Thanks for that. I never knew anything about them except for their song "Kind of a drag" which I never heard on the radio until sometime in the '80s.

doowop lover thanks
Just not the same without original lead singer Dennis Tufano
I thought all the time's, Carl size were... medium heights. I was wrongful abouts his, heights,
do they still get young groupies I wonder?
no, they get very old groupies.
Average age is 60. Why would any girl want to be a groupie for her GRANDAFTHER?
Pretty good but no horns?
Billy gardell
That’s not Dennis
Any original members on stage?
YES Carl Giamarise on guitar and lead vocals and Nick Fortuna on bass
Are they the original band members?

Well done, but sadly Dennis Tufano was the Buckinghams. Don't you Care ?
Come on Carl your good but not even close to Johnny and the guys.
Any uber fan here that can tell me if that is Rocky Dennis from Scramble on drums?
