I go see the Buckinghams every chance I get. They always do a great job. I've seen Dennis Tufano once. He was great, but seemed to prefer doing Bobby Darin and other oldies over Buckinghams tunes.

Beautiful song that got my attention through regular airplay on the late, great KKSF San Francisco in 1993. I got the Red CD and went to see Kiki's show at Great American Music Hall around that time. Still a favorite!!

Carl and Nick have done such a good job maintaining the sound...so many of these older bands are not able to make it sound as close to the original and these guys have done that-even though Carl was originally the backing vocalist to Dennis Tufano who left pretty much at the peak of their run.

I just saw this and was it was nice to hear something about t he Buckinghams first drummer. Losing a band member/friend is sad, but sharing your wonderful memories of him can also lessen the sadness of the loss.

Just saw this…it’s nice to hear your voice and share the stories about your buddy John. I remember back in the “early” days…I “worked” at the Deep End in Park Ridge while in high school. The best years of being a teenager was to hear a lot of the groups live 😅before you made it “big”. I remember first hearing the horn sound and loving it. So those days of The Deep End, The Hut, The Cellar, The Green Gorilla, The Bat Cave were a lot of fun…and the fact we teens got to see you live! I saw you at The Des Plaines theater a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome! You are all so talented and perform enthusiastically instead of “boring”…it seemed magical (except when Jim Peterik fainted). I booked to see you at The Belfry and am treating my best friend to your show…as the teen years were the best…and we are both Susans…so I wanted her to hear you sing it live. (I hope you sing it that is!). Thanks for the memories of years gone by! Thanks for transporting us to the best years of our lives.
