i still think they should've done the vauban thing of mixing his 3 and 4 into a single ability. and it could have the hold and press mechanic. press to summon the kraken, hold to make it dive, dragging all grabbed enemies under. but they would still have their heads above water, which would not only allow for easy headshots, but also count them as open to ground finishers.
I was thinking they should remove his tidal surge for a new ability and then add tidal surge and undertow to his base movement mechanics. When you roll, you dash forward as a tidal surge dragging enemies with you, when you crouch you go into an undertow puddle. Would keep him unique and give him amazing gameplay.

@@Rogue1king Yeap. to give a non TL;DR version and just whats in the pack: they are also FOMO from what i heard and for the most expensive pack you got : 2 skins for frost and mag, 2 of a completly new attachment type called signas little crowns you can put on your warframes, A emote, hierloom color set, 2700 or so platinum (but it jused to be 600 or so. DE's method of apologising for how bad this got), 6 regal aya witch was one of the real ball twisters and meny say DE just put that there to inflate the price, Hierloom glyph, and a heirloom accolade, a little badge that gets put on your profile kinda like founders badges...witch is another thing as for meny this is pretty mutch founder 2.0 on account of the FOMO too, but without the fact that back then. founder was made becus DE needed the money and warframe whould not have existed, but as of right now. meny just see it as greedy

@slicrhk2129 The only reason why Sev isn't more popular is because of his farm, just like his predecessor Hildryn and Baruuk before their primes got released. Dagath's farm seem to be not as obnoxious as the frames mentioned before. Note that i personally love RJ so i dont mind farming for Sev. Other people doesn't share my sentiments however.
@@remus4283 i mean they have 53(54 with dagath) frames so it does kinda make sense that they'd start to get a little similar. I've seen games with way less characters start recycling kit ideas way earlier so this is fine imo.

@@marcosdheleno Honestly, if you replace doing void fissure with void storms and go with the intentions of cracking relics instead of farming Sev/Holokeys, you'll accidentally get a full set. Void storms offer better rewards anyways
I started on switch in 2019. Been playing since but i was so lost for a while with all those icons appearing not knowing what tf they meant. TEN YEARS AFTER RELEASE they figure out "yeah, people may want to know what these obscure icons mean." Outstanding. And pray this companion rework means they'll fix the fur textures they broke years ago. My poor Kubrow went from floofball to looking like she went through a carwash.
all of the icons show what they are when they first appear, if you want to know what they are go into simulacrum and trigger the icon/effect and just watch what names pop up
@@BigHailFan Either have a friend recreate that same effect in the simulacrum or try to remember to look at the top right whenever that effect happens. If it’s from another war frame then it’s usually either damage reduction, ability strength increase , Health Regen or Weapon damage increase

So...a thought for a moment.....tempest barrage is the helminth....which means it will not only be quick to cast, causes constant stagger, has range for days, can have 4 separate instances, and cause corrosive, but the augment causes viral and more damage.....its possible with the tweaks that hydroids ability could be a fun gateway to corrosive viral spamming on the cheap
the only thing i will miss on Hydroid is the curative undertow augment ;-;. But I do think that the rework is a great upgrade for Hydroid :) "its time to be the sulfuric acid pirate"

I can't help but NOTICE that most of these QOL things are happening under Rebbs stewardship. I think its largely a case of her thinking about these things first as foundational before moving onto the bigger things.
Rebb letting Pablo do his thing and not spending a month's worth of livestreams getting into arguments over basic things like universal companion vacuum like Steve did (and you can tell Steve is so fucking uncomfortable with the changes on the stream) has been a blessing for this game.
No. It's Pablo. Steve was letting Reb makes decisions before he officially stepped down and they were stupid. I'd honestly probably say the Heirloom fiasco was because of her. Scott leaving and letting Pablo take over was amazing for WF.
good, i am glad shield gating is getting changed, the decaying dragon key crap was always stupid to me and now it is a mod that makes people have to change their builds instead of abusing it, also, hope the other compainions aside from vulpaphylas and smeetas are made to be better and have more reasons to use them cause thats all i really want.
Would be nice if the 1 is held down you can cast the first ability on a location. Should be the same for Yareli. That way range play styles can use the first skill.
More than that, the Corrosive changes that happened a few years ago pretty much made Corroding Barrage useless since it couldn't fully strip armour anymore. Thankfully, DE made his previous full armour strip niche an actual feature to his kit while making his augment for Tempest Barrage deal Viral procs instead. So even if he's fighting Corpus who mostly don't have armour, Tempest Barrage will still be effective from dealing Viral procs.

I like how Dagaths alternate helmet is someone throwing a veil over Excaliburs head and then giving him an instant lobotomy with a Tigris Prime. I'm kind of sad that after all these years, DE is going to take my Smeeta Crystal Kavat out back and lobotomize it with a Tigris Prime. Also, the Hydroid rework might be Pablo's best yet. This means DE will nerf his ass back into oblivion real quick.

Knowing that shield gating can't be so easily exploited means we can finally have the actual tank frames shine by having the game balanced to actual tanking not just damage ignoring through SG exploitation.
