Extraordinary. I have made a living from music for 50 years, cover bands and tribute bands have been my bread and butter. You guys are not a cover band, you play other people’s compositions but from the inside. Tight, yes, musical, yes, competent, yes, but more, much more, you own it, or as Miles would have said, you guys are bad. I will be looking.
you are right, but if they had a perfect manager and if their headquarters were in London or New York, they would be at the top, for sure ..... they are really phenomenal .... and they have to work a lot, a lot ..... I apologize for my "not perfect" English :-) P.S. Miles was the perfectionist and the excentric and the most famous on the Planet and he could tel what he want to everybody :-)
I have listened to all performances of "I do not need no doctor": John Mayer, John Scofield, Ray Charles and other. OK, Mayer plays and sings amazing, Scofield plays perfect, Ray is phenomenal, but Dusty Lee sang the best this song and this performance is awesome. Other members of the HSCC are also outstanding. Bravo.
What a great band. I'm glad I found these guys. Bass player is spot on. Each vocalist is superb. You guys should get with Leonid and Friends and tour the US.
This is like finding a restaurant that is a hidden gem. You can taste all of the separate flavors and spices and it's just a unique experience. Same with these guys--the mix is outstanding. The tones are spot on and you can hear every musician perfectly. Nicely done, nicely done.
For a long time, my Friday night ritual has been to pour myself a glass of something strong and crank up your latest upload. So glad to still be able to do so during coronavirus lockdown. A refreshing dose of normality in these crazy times!
A great old Humble Pie song, remained by John Mayer in a bluesy style. Guitar singer guy sounds like John, amazing ! As usual, HSCC, you took a pop hit and made it your own while being faithful to the original ! Great job !
Written by Nick Ashford, Valerie Simpson, and Jo Armstead and first released by Nick Ashford in August 1966. Ray Chales did a cover a few months later.
DUSTY, DUSTY amazing!!! You blokes are having way too much fun for this to be a job. As usual your renditions breathe new life into great songs. As I always say.... love your work 👊👊👊
Got a problem coz I subscribe. Each song I'm listening to is better than the other one. Terrific. Seems that everybody and his mother is a great singer down in your country coz you had one that fit for every song you decide to cover. Mr Muller, I thought than in the cradle of funk, you were born with a strat. One more time after one more time, what a pleasure for each new tune.!
It’s by Ray Charles. This arrangement and hip chord substitutions are by jazz guitarist John Scofield, who had John Mayer guest on the tune on Scofields’ R Charles tribute album. Mayer then began covering the Scofield arrangement in his live shows...
Awesome guys, great vocals, bass, background vocals. Apologies, but I'm a guitarist and the lead/rhythm guitarist is fantastic, love the groove he gets into - keep it up guys. I have so enjoyed you guys during lockdown. All the best.
I'm listening to your covers everyday. Your performances are top notch. It doesn't feel like you're just doing cover. You owned them as if you're the original. If I may request a song, can you perform "Waiting for the world to change" by John Mayer. Thanks!
I can honestly say there has never been one release from the HSCC that I haven't loved. Keep them coming. May you all stay safe and well through the lockdown period. #newcastlenumberonefan
When James Muller takes a solo, you can count on getting something you don't expect - in a very good way. Turn him loose!
Love watching James jam...he has no facial expression but his solos express all that needs to be said!
The best one!...
And that Les Paul 🤤
J. Muller slaying it!!

This is very kind of you Rupert 🙏
The difference is that they appear to be friends that love making music together .you ll never work a day if you do what you love

Ita your best cover, bar none. So good!

What a great band. I'm glad I found these guys. Bass player is spot on. Each vocalist is superb. You guys should get with Leonid and Friends and tour the US.
I believe the same

I have yet to come across anything from HSCC that I don't immediately repeat....
