If I'm not mistaken, that's his buddy on the 93 I'm 90 percent sure, I can tell Tony not as thin as dude in video or as tall ....he had his 1990 cr125 at this point I believe and although they all swapped.bikes around to try and share but I think his riding style is different as well......but I'm sure he would like you to think it was him riding, I would of just put a heart on the comment and let.him think it was me,......lol.....

I loved the look of the 92 YZ125 even more than the 93
And I liked it ergonomically, but it did feel heavy and slow

    Hell yeah another great video
The Bradshaw/ Emig years " totally wigged out "
Moved from the 1992 RM 80 to the 1993 YZ 80 complete diff powerband night and day diff hardest hitting 80 for the year by far
Continued on YZ 80s for the 1994 season with the Noleen / Sizzler setup
Only complaints i remember was the seat skin material was extremley thin and rubbery
Best ergos of the era on the 80s also

I remember the 94 ad had Justin Buckelew on an 80cc riding with Emig on his 125

I had the 91,92 and 93 yz125,loved it!! They were blazing fast with boyesen rad valve and porting and race fuel. We als modified something with ignition but can't remember what,I raced Dutch nationals with it and loved to beat Honda's with it and had many holeshots on my lovely YZ125 's.Feld so good to race this bike in a feld with mostly red bikes and few green and yellow. As I remember it was me and 3 other yz"s in a field of 35-40 bikes. The Dutch build DPR pipe and short silencer also helped alot. Very good midrange and blazing top end power.Good memories 🩷funny thing was I liked the 91 the most, then the 92.The 93 not so good as the older ones.I still have my spare 91 bike that is 4 hours old from new and completely stock

Great video. Early to mid 80s Husky enduro bike would be cool.

My 93 motor got sent to PC ran a pc pipe as well. Thing was a beast. Even put a heavier flywheel for supercross.

Yeah my 93 wasn't brilliant standard but I got hold of an old skool boysen reed cage and reeds with a slight port to the cylinder to remove casting marks and sharpening of edges combined with a hgs pipe has totally changed the engine and made it what it should be now it's a great bike plus brakes are amazing for the year but as for standard yes lack luster but looked great.

been making a supermoto project out of the 92 yz 125 with a 2005 dt 125 frame to get a matching plate and frame number, 2015 plastics, and some upgrades will give power to it like boyesen reeds, 38 keihin, fmf fatty from a husq sm 125, pulls from the top and the cylinder has been modified to make it pull from high rpm

Cool review !!! Allthough I never have been a yam fan, all is intresting. Watch out putting riding videos, it made me focus on the bike and riding, and I realized I was not listening anymore to your naration. Great content you public, thanks !!!

I remember the 92 was supposed to be really slow and the factory machines were supposedly running modified 90 cylinders. The only one I have rode is the 89. Lots of fun watching Emig back then.

Got a 93 yz 125 that I split the cases and rebuilt for my son. It is pretty darn slow. Got a 2001 cr 125 too and the cr feels like a 250 compared to that 93 yz..

You should do the 96 yz125 next as a follow up to this as Yamaha finally gained the biggest foothold in the 125cc class w the all.new blistering 96 yz125 that dominated the class that year if I'm not.mistaken.....its also the precursor of today's highly refined machine and this 96 is basically the younger brother of the latest edition....Yamaha just.built upon this foundation and while the aluminum frame constituted a all new.bike, I'm pretty sure the motor and suspension and.body work was still very similar and I'm more knowledgeable on yz250s cuz I know in 2005 was first year AF.....and not sure if the 125 got it the same year or if it was later.........but yeah YOU CAN REDEEM THE YZ125 by doing a good comparison video of what Yamaha did different that.made such a big difference on the track, and obviously in the land of the venerable yipper tiddlers, MOTOR IS.KING, AND THE YZ125 HAD IT IN SPADES........I ALWAYS LIKE TO THINK OF THE YZ125 AND 250S BROAD ,REV Y MOTOR AS THE 1986 HONDA CR250 EQUIVALENT.......Pulling from first crack of throttle hard alllllll way thru to an eye watering top end hook!!!!....(yes I'll m.begining to use your sayings I watch your channel so much!!!!...lol).....
And then when the kayaba triple sss came in 06 right??? Those were the modern day equivalent to the 86 cr250s showa cartridge forks!!!....lol.....which such wife yielding universal praise for their plush yet firm spring fork that dominated the rough with very. mimimal feedback to riders hands, pleasant , smooth , awe inspiring , feedback that Imbued you with confidence as you can plow into anything or.jump.nething without bottoming while having them super responsive as well handling the smaller chop and.braking bumps as those kayaba sss just smash thru everything with no issue......hold a set, hold their line, don't deflect easy....and no fade even when at full tilt.boogey with the forks piston moving at the same rate as the motor !!!!....lol...ok enough out of.me

93-95 YZ250 Yamaha for them few years had the best contingency plan Out of all brands I switched that year as a privateer first few years. Today's privateers have more waysas far as finding or getting support Start your own crypto That's being done putting video comtent out streaming live that is just a few examples How those today have more opportunity & would say with less completion than those throughout 80s 90s in almost every district.
