I know I know I know! We TOTALLY should have bought a Chihuahua 😂😂
😆
You might not have a dog to ride with but you do have Jabba.
But always grateful that you know an individual is not an object to be purchased. ❤️
On behalf of the State of New Mexico, I can say we don’t often have snow, but we save our few snowfalls just for you Ryan as a special honor. We hope you appreciate it. ❤😊
I’m honored 😂
Years ago I used to drive from Tennessee to Arizona to see my parents. When I crossed into New Mexico, and I am not sure why, but I always felt like I had come home. Thank you for providing this homecoming!
How you don't have a million subs yet is the true mystery! Love your videos! They always make me want to get out there and ride!
Around here those down hills are known as free gas and I usually yell it out as I’m gaining as much speed as possible!!!! Bike life !!!!!!
:) You guys make me smile. Wind or no wind. :D
Awesome Ryan and Thomas i love the content you guys bring value to my life and i live the dream through you guys , sitting Infront of TH-cam - all the way from Newcastle in England - semper fi
It made me giggle to see there is electricity in the old dilapidated schoolhouse. I especially love your desert videos in the southwest and in Mexico. You're right having a fun buddy to do it with makes it even better. Thanks
Thank you Duzer for the awesome content!! I never knew New Mexico was so beautiful.
It really is!
I must say Ryan your story telling and videography are second to none. Just amazing stuff. Thank-you so much.
Aww, thank you so much!! I put a lot of effort into getting good shots
Lovely conversation between you two fellows. Jubba seem to be a fun adventurer. 😂
Thanks for brining us another great film, Ryan.
Those views are spectacular.
Looking forward to the next one
A beautiful video. Stunning scenery.
For your burritos…you gotta try some Heartbeat Hot Sauce (made in my previous hometown of Thunder Bay, Ontario). It’s incredible.
Good luck on the Tour Divide!!!
Oooh Canadian hot sauce! I’m in
Hi Ryan love the videos especially New Mexico spent some time there with a friend in Taos, you will have to get to Ireland sometime make sure its in the summer 😊 keep up the inspirational videos makes me get out on the bike, i will be doing a we trip soon and will post a video of it.
Those burritos were stacked though! Definitely got your calories worth! I would've gotten one of those dogs! I'm looking to take a small dog with me on my tour down to South America!
You’re one of the coolest guys on TH-cam Ryan!! You inspire many people and should be proud of yourself!!!! Keep doing what you do and stay away from flatties and whammies!!!
You make my favorite videos. And never stop getting better. How coll is the wind and gravel noises with the drone shots. And the time-lapse in the end. Congratulations, man. And thanks for inspiring me (and certainly many other people) to go outside and ride bikes. You're the best!
Thanks for letting us ride along!
Greetings from Uzbekistan!!!! I wish you good luck!!!
New Mexico is a beautiful place! My was there for interchange studies. He was watching today's episode and remembering some places he had been.
It is indeed a special place
Always a pure pleasure and joy to wake up to Ryan’s voice!
Thanks for another great bikepacking video. I live vicariously through you. I would love to join you but in order to keep up with someone 30 years my junior I will have to wait for the Priority 600X electric with the Pinon MGU gearbox/ motor combination. If Priority ever makes this bike please ask them to make it with a high stack height so we can sit up straight for long distance comfort.
Love your colabs with the "Hiking Viking'' dude is genuinely funny!
Love your content 🙌
He keeps me laughing !!
Thank you for the video; I deeply felt the coldness of the weather.! 🥶😄
Love that homage to the Taylor Swift / Duzer tent “shake it off” IG reel. Someone must have put a lot of time into it. 😉 Great video as always.
I will save this one for my goodnight video time. The last one of the weekend to duze me off into a well nights sleep!
It’ll lull you to sleep…or fire you up to get out and ride!
Wabi-Sabi a Japanese term for finding beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and decay. Accepting and finding beauty in the truth that nothing lasts and nothing is perfect. Ghost towns or funky little markets often express this aesthetic of wabi-sabi. Most of our country strives for new, clean, and genteel… but New Mexico is full of wabi-sabi. It’s one of the reasons I love it.
Price of those burritos ain’t bad considering what you’d pay at a restaurant. Home and fresh made? A deal!
Scientifically proven that owning a pup lowers blood pressure. A great book to aid in picking a breed is "The Right Dog For You" by Toratora. It has an exam and it's score helps you pick a breed.
Man I love New Mexico, and I haven't even been there yet. The great open expances are incredible. I can imagine they bring an overwhelming feeling of freedom. Through this and other videos from NM I realize it's often hard to estimate just how far away distant mountains are. There's no reference of scale, no entitites in the landscape of known size, and so mountains or mounds could be 2 miles or 50 miles away. Kind of like how it was for the astronauts going to the Moon 🙂
On dogs, may I suggest checking out Staffordshire bull terrier? They are super gorgeous, they look you in the eyes, they are THE most loving dog breed out there, they have very managable short fur, they are real goofballs, they are protective of their humans and they are the best family dogs ever. True nanny dogs. Pit bulls are exactly the same, just bigger, and that's why I suggest a Staffie. Check it out if you find that their traits are matching your wishes 🙂
I need to look this ride up. Just did the Mickelson in the SD this week. It would be interesting to loop this up with the GDMR section of New Mexico.
Loving your New Mexico adventure! I can't wait to dot watch you on the Tour divide! Have a great ride!
Jabba knows what’s up the brown sugar pop tarts have 30 more calories than any other pop tart 💪🏻💪🏻
Another awesome episode, that descent looked like so much fun😊You sure lucked out with the weather this time👍
That is a cholla... a different kind.... there are teddy bear chollas and stick chollas and all that!
Love watching you ride with friends ❤ I day dream about riding again soon. Thank you for posting such wonderful videos. 🙏
Thanks! I hope that you’ll be riding soon
Bicycle tires against gravel is the best white noise! :)
Great video, as always! 😊
Another brilliant episode. Love these on Sunday nights.
Everyone should have a chihuahua in there back pack. LOL
As always another amazing adventure. Thanks for sharing this with us.
SALUDOS desde California. 😮
Another pearler of a video, you guys make a very entertaining duo! Thanks for converting the miles to kilometres!
Thanks!! We had a blast!
on a good ride i ruminate on all kinds of things also, it's a good time for a grateful heart.
So true. The quiet time allows for a lot of introspection
Ryan, It was great seeing you at Bolder Boulder today! Thanks for being the same guy in real life as you are on your vids!
Great meeting you today!! Hope the rest of your day was awesome
@@duzer we flew back to Oklahoma where it’s a little less awesome, but we love having the best Memorial Day weekend anywhere in your hometown every year. Is there a way to follow you while you are on your trip down the Continental Divide?
Awesome Ryan good travels
Yes! I’m enjoying these videos. Keep making them.
I appreciate your calm video.
Great job @duzer. This looks like such fun!!!
Love the adventure as always but I really wish TH-cam would figure out its issue of not showing your videos in my feed. I even have the "bell" on for notifications. The algorithm definitely has had a whammy lately for some of my favorite storytellers!
Great video as always. Which brand and model bars you currently riding?
Cool trip. You need to come to Ecuador and ride this beautiful country. We have a newly renovated house in Cuenca , I left my mountainbike there and we return to go from Ecuador to Peru to ride Cusco this summer. We are starting a AirBnB for the Cuenca house soon if you come down.
When we lived in AZ this year, learned there are over 30 species of Cholla!
Wow!! I didn’t know that there were so many.
Another great video! Love the nice shoulders on the roads to ride on. We need more of those on bigger highways. Love the scenery and the props you gave to Nancy. Boy that looked like fun. Thanks for the video. You too, Jabba!
So much fun
Buen video, saludos desde Colombia.🚲👍
I wish you nice travel!!!!
Another great video Ryan and the Pennsylvania boy kool
Thanks!!! Loving it
Let’s goooooo!
I am greatly enjoying your New Mexico trip, thank you for showing my home in a positive way. Would you please tell me what seat you’re using? My butt is sore after 8 miles or so. 😂
I love your state!! My seat is the WTB Volt. Works for me, but saddles are like shoes, they’re all pretty different. Sometimes you gotta try out a handful
Gotta wear good bike shorts too and slowly build up the length of time spent in the saddle. Ride on!
@@LIamaLlama554 I have some nice cannondale shorts with a big butt pad but my gooch goes numb and my butt aches. I just ride on the pedals until the feeling comes back. My seat has a hole so not sure what to do next.
nice! 😄All the best from the Netherlands
My people!!
You Will come the the Netherlands to ride your bike? 😅
You should show a map of your progress in your videos.
Hey Duz, checkout Forestry Forest and his pup of adventures. Another great tuber like yourself! Thanks for the great content.
Thanks, will do!
@@duzer hope you like it ✌
You definitely need a pup like your pals John n Mira.
I think so too
That was great
Love the videos, always inspiring. We are thinking of biking this trail and I've done some research and have found a couple of options, but the trail you're on seems to be more off the beaten path. Did you follow a specific trail?
First! Ride Ryan Ride!
How does the Viking pack enough food for himself? Big man needs more calories than us skinny folk Ryan!
He hunts bears and other large game with an improvised crossbow.
@@LIamaLlama554 LOL! I think I'd run if he couldn't find din din!
Pico Latrone, birthplace of most (all?) of New Mexico’s politicians. Red Canyon campground is just a few miles from our cabin/camping grounds, next time you should stop by.
Oh wow! What a beautiful spot for a cabin
We camped in that area in April, super cool spot! The vicious NM mud got us the next day.
Oooh, I bet that this area could become very sticky after a rain :(
What power bank(s) do you use? I love these videos so much!
Is the Viking your new Love? ❤
You've never owned a car how far do you commute back and forth to work do you use a regular bike or e-bike just curious I'm trying to get into it
I have to know!
You definitely need a dog
Or one of those backpacking cats
Love beans👍💯🌶🍅🥬🥦🍏🥕🔥
wow your in NM and eating mission tortillas.... The worst tortillas on the planet! At least use guerreros tortillas. ABQ tortilla company has great tortillas! I went to a high school graduation in Magdalena. Small towns in NM are something else!
If you don’t wake up to your bike covered in ice then it’s not that cold lmao jk
👍
Power in an abandoned church...thoughts of God generate power for gadgets😅
Wind is the bane of all cyclists. One can dress for most any condition and be pretty comfy, except wind.
Do you run tubes in your tires, Ryan?
No, always tubeless
@@duzer I assume you're running Stan's or some kind of sealant.
Dogs for sale? Same price as the burritos? What do you think is in the burritos?
Peanut butter and honey. I was paying attention.
You ride that fancy new bike in the race, I bet you win!
Have you talked to John and Mira lately? He hasn't been posting in a long time.
I just got off the phone with him! He’s in Panama. Best way to get up to date info is on IG: @mira_la_perra
Did you hear coyotes?
How does this Ryan always look clean & rested riding a bike? Oh right he rides in a sprinter van then films.
Yo quiero Taco Bell
Yo también ;)
There why everyone smells bad: You know when satan is around, Satan STINKS! (movie prelude before Ryan's Video).
On behalf of the State of New Mexico, I can say we don’t often have snow, but we save our few snowfalls just for you Ryan as a special honor. We hope you appreciate it. ❤😊
