they are in different categories. m650 has bluetooth connection that lets it to connect any device. it is also a tad smaller and has longer battery life. clicks are silent if you mind. m560 only connects with unifying receiver. it has wheel feature that changeable between infinite scrolling or normal step scrolling. battery life isn't 2 year but isn't short either, maybe around 6 months. but nothing beats a major flaw. logitech broke down unifying receiver's driver for m560. button5 stopped working ever since then.
