I actually only had to clean the mouse wheel, as it was already rattling quite loudly. But thanks to your video, I simply cleaned the rest of the mouse as well. It was also necessary haha. 😂 Thanks for the video! 🙂
Thank you Purkka! My Rival 5 mouse wheel was giving me ghost down inputs when scrolling up and vice versa. Will follow this guide to clean it out. One more thing, where did you get that grey work mat? Can't find the exact one
I would just search for a cable from ebay, aliexpress etc. with the product name / model number. The cables between mouses are not standardized and may or may not work.
Terrible guide, I advise you not to follow the First steps as described. If you try to disconnect the longer contact first as shown in the video, the electrical contacs of the two side LEDs will certainly break because they are much shorter and more fragile. Which Is happened to me. Failed, it would be better to remove the video and redo it correctly.
