I am left having to coparent with my daughters father. Upon trying to figure out our schedule for next week he called me a retard and told me I must be having a down syndrome day reminded me that my house is a mobile home so I am trash. He has damaged me horribly bad and I hate that my daughter has to bare witness to his tactics.
Forgive me. I laughed at how you blatantly just wrote that. I'm here gaining some ammo against a self-righteous narc brother and it reminded me of how, years back, he went into this whole diatribe of how "There's trailer trash, and there's apartment trash..."

Hi, why would you want to acknowledge their emotions? It seems too easy to get sucked into their side if you do that. Personally I want to stay far away from their emotions.

What advice can you give me Rebecca regarding a man who I once was dating for a brief period of time, before we married in a foreign country, and then he took all my money and abandoned me. I returned to the USA, and never heard anything from him in over 8 years! Now, he has resurfaced in my hometown, claiming that he is married to another woman! Yet, is also claiming that he is still in love with me.

I used this video, to go from this email, exhibit A, to this, exhibit B. I got away from being in victim mode to being objective, respectful, but firm and in control.
Exhibit A "Frankly I am appalled at your sense of entitlement, at intruding into my home and without even the barest courtesy regarding that action.
I have made it clear I do not want any contact with you and I do not want you intruding into my life.
I am asking you to confirm within the next 7 days that you will stay away and not come here again.
I have the right to live in peace.
