What if your beard is chemically damaged? My beard breaks off so easily I almost can't even touch it...and also the texture isn't at its normal state
If it's chemically damaged to the point where the hairs are breaking then your best option might be to shave it and start over.

When I apply water to my beard it gets longer. I guess everyone beard is different.

For me. My beard shrinks up and as it dries up and the excess water leaves my beard. My beard puffs out.
