Dude, Doug, awesome video! So many questions! First, we’re you using a flame to get any wet alcohol or water out? Second, are you going to clear and cut at all? Third, why didnt you fog the bottom? Fourth, when you do bigger bikes, like over the road super dependable bikes, do you plug the tank?
    Awesome video! Awesome build!

Thanks! Yes, the blowtorch is my trade secret- I use it to warm up the metal enough that I see the moisture / oil evaporate, then let it cool a tad (warm to the touch, but not hot). I find the paint sticks better, is more smooth, and the best part, dries faster. No clear coat with this paint. Thought about wet sanding and polishing/buffing, but it came out really nice as is. I'll get the bottom a little bit, but I wanted to get the video done for this week. And lastly- It depends. It's probably a good idea, but I'm generally careful enough not to spray directly in the tank, and if you let the paint cure, the gas won't dissolve it. Cant wait to see your Vette!!!
