I'm 48 and feel the same way we aren't alone and don't second guess a genuine pure thought. I live in America an raise an Aspergers/autist son and a son with ADHD and then I watch Alex and I see so much of that in me as well but I've been running on empty for decades in survival mode for my sons. Alex an the side quest have made such a difference in my mental health an me helping my sons who are close to her age. ❤️

That whole thing about your lovely parents trying to help but setting your brain off….so relatable. I’m blessed with lovely parents who do try to help me too. And while I love seeing them, help is not always helpful……. I think it’s something to do with the combination of not being able to redirect attention and things happening out of your control. Drives me mad. I am lucky enough to have people willing to help but I can’t make use of it. Most of all I wish I didn’t need help and have no idea what to do when they can’t help….which given our ages is very soon. And the heartbreaking idea that I should be helping them by this stage in my life. Thank you broken brain.
I think you would benefit from a medication box/bin/bag/pouch, some kind of containment where you keep all of the medications you need on a regular basis. You’ll have to train yourself to put them back there every time, and you’ll still occasionally forget, but I’ve found having a sealable container, and a designated place for it helps w lot with keep track of things. Especially with pets who can knock things off of other things.
Safe travels also am I the only one that gears a pigeon call from the windshield wipers and thought Alex was taking dumpling with her on the trip with a mirror till she stopped for gas

Not sure if it will help you, but as I've noticed you seem to misplace your meds fairly regularly, no shade I do the same, what did help me was keeping them all in a little basket. I keep prescription and supplements all in the basket so at least I know I can go to the basket if I've misplaced a sheet because I took it somewhere. I mean, this doesn't help if you take the whole box out or run out, but for the most part... :D

Alex if you ever get to go to Straun in Tassie there is a tour that will take you to Sarah island. The scenery is amazing that I got some beautiful photos on a phone camera. I can only imagine how beautiful the photos your new camera would take. The tour also takes you to a cold weather rain forest on the Gordon river.

I specifically got an external disc drive to keep doing it, but it didn't work so I finally had to go to Google Docs. But I still have that disc

I recently got myself a special bag that you can take on planes and travel with just for meds. I got it on Amazon and got my Dad one too. We use them daily not just for traveling now. It holds all the bottles and other meds things.
plus size clothing usually cot more because they use more fabric.. I'm a plus size girl.. But I also just buy clothes second hand, at H&M or Kapphal.... and since amazon came to sweden from there too XD
The idea of going to New Zealand is a great one, it would be really cool if you did. But not go and stay in Auckland, you would have to travel around and you should try to get right down south.

I've actually not seen the Dune movie, which is interesting considering how much I enjoyed the book when I read it. On that note, the book takes a bit to get into, but the story is *so good* 🕊🏡

Definitely worth a listen! It has a really good message and is upbeat enough that it's had some radio play now! Though TW it does talk about anorexia. Jax has a bunch of great songs if you do happen to listen and enjoy her music. Everyone has their own taste in music though, so depending on what you like to listen to you may or may not enjoy her stuff like I do. Just throwing it out there so you know of the song's existence at least! Hope after all that stress and rushing, you managed to make your flight.
I ALWAYS have to be packed at least twelve hours before I have to Leave for my flight but it is my sleep that once cause me to be late to a flight and have to catch another

I couldn't do this. I have to have everything in order so I don't end up in a panic. I hate panic attacks so I over plan to avoid them at all cost! They're awful 😞
I've actually not seen the Dune movie, which is interesting considering how much I enjoyed the book when I read it. On that note, the book takes a bit to get into, but the story is *so good* 🕊🏡

Hey Alex. When you mentioned Victoria's secret and your immediate reaction wasn't 'she's an old man who lives in ohio' I realised you mustn't have heard the Jax song 'Victoria's Secret'. Definitely worth a listen! It has a really good message and is upbeat enough that it's had some radio play now! Though TW it does talk about anorexia. Jax has a bunch of great songs if you do happen to listen and enjoy her music. Everyone has their own taste in music though, so depending on what you like to listen to you may or may not enjoy her stuff like I do. Just throwing it out there so you know of the song's existence at least!
