    Oh man. I finished my RN not to long ago and one of the FIRST things I did was burn my ATI books. Dry, noncolored, flimsy-papered, unhelpful things 😂

    My RN program used Elsevier, but I used ATI in LPN. It’s all the same really. CJ this will be done before you know it! You got this!! The great thing about being an LPN is that you’re adding on top of a sturdy foundation.

    I wish my bridge program was like yours! Our ATI is mandatory you have to pass with a 72 and pass the class with a 80%.
    I just passed my fundamental and dosage calculation exam yesterday 💪🏾

    Don’t listen to the flesh, all those vacations will come to you, bigger and more grand. Always obstacles and test in life at every level but keep going.

    Imagine getting into e-commerce finding a product that nurses or facility’s need and improving that product to make a brand off that one product

    We did ati too. But we had to get certain grades. It was for homework. And at the end we couldn’t pass our program without passing the ati exit exam and then after exit exam we had a nclex review class which was run by ati staff. We got those ati books too. We used them to study too…. You can use them books.

    That's how they are making their money... instead of teaching. Just busy work. Smh

      😂 they do teach. ATI pushes products on the school.

    Yooo! Big brah I'm going through similar with my LPN. Like you just a bunch of disorganization. My program keeps changing our schedules, books lost in transit it's crazy. I hope things get better for all of us who may be going through it.

    My school does HESI and we have to complete it but it doesn’t count towards your grade unless you fail it so it can only hurt you. I just feel defeated when there’s no grade for your good work only punishment for your bad work.

    Most schools use ATI. Hiwever they don't have a fee like what your school did. Its included in tuition. You will do well yo use yheir practise exams and go through concepts.

      Luckily I went over 20 years ago and 33 for LVN is what we call it in California. I have a few younger friends in programs, lots of busy computer work. We had classes with instruction and projects. I saw it was beginning to change somewhat

    This might be a dumb question but is it possible for someone to be introverted and a nurse? Do you have to be super nurturing etc?
    Is nursing super cliquish with a bunch of hazing bc thats what I heard. And I'm a bro too so thats another factor but u makin it work....!

    • @jaymorgan.
      @jaymorgan. หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      There’s every type of personality imaginable as nurses and in nursing there’s a bunch of childish cliquish catty women. You don’t have to be super nurturing, just be patient and respectful. And for the most part as a male you will have minor issues but some women will try you anyway and get you involved in drama especially if you’re a half way decent looking guy not giving them attention.

      @@jaymorgan. Man im SUPER close to just enrolling in community and taking a ton of pre reqs for nursing and then going all in on it... Like SO CLOSE. Im in my 30s it seems like age doesnt matter with med which is nice. Ton of jobs. U mite have just pushed me over the decision edge in a good way.
      Man I read online some male nurse who was a former marine was like- nursing school had more hazing than the marines, id rather do the crucible again than nursing school. Like yooo wtffff!
