Because when you reach or should I say, if you ever reach License A and B, there is no help line and after that you get really confused and can't drive and need to learn to drive without it. Trust me, turn it off and learn how to really race and learn to read the map without it.
It also just simply teaches bad habits, it doesn't teach you to use brake markers etc and it isn't optimal for speed. If someone plays more casually sure but if you want to improve, starting with line off is so much better in the long run
@@Cavi587 Yup, and the line isn't dynamic like in most racing games either so it doesnt change based on your speed etc. You might have a completely different speed than the one needed for the corner where your braking/throttle/turn-in might be different

Now hoping he buys an actual DD wheel from Moza or Fanatec Also X really needs to learn how to brake properly and maybe even put some time into learning how to trailbrake, but I highly doubt that

Correct me if i’m wrong but on 35:57 it’s obvious that the crash is his fault, im not into iracing so i don’t now if ABS is a thing but i think by the fact that he is pressing the brakes at 100% and simultaneously turning left makes the wheels lock up so he just unintentionally slid trough the „normal“ racing line of the guy behind
X had every right to go for the inside line, it wasn't like he divebombed, they were side by side for a while and he was ahead entering the corner. They brake at almost the same time, so X had to brake more than than the guy on the outside. the guy on the outside knew this, and expected him not to brake enough, and overshoot the corner, but X does end up braking enough, while leaving plenty room on the outside. There is like a half second before the contact where it is clear that X is going the make the corner, and not overshoot, therefore the guy on the outside should have changed line/slowed down to stay on the outside, he still would have probably retaken the position up the hill from X because of how slow he had to go for the inside line. Just because X slowed down way too much for the corner, doesn't mean he is allowed to hit him. he already had the position and is entitled to defend the inside line. guy on the outside really wanted the inside line, but is not entitled to it. Racers can go as slow as they please when defending, its on the car behind to get past without hitting them.
Honestly it's a 50/50 racing incident but one that could only happen in a low-iRating lobby. Most drivers would easily avoid him locking up on the racing line, but most drivers would also not be locking up like that.

Nah that was x’s fault, he just divebombed in front of the guy, if you enter side by side into a turn and you’re the inside car you should hold the inside which is obviously slow but in turn you take the shorter route vs the outside guy, so you make up distance again. But he just went to the outside after hitting the apex and cut the other guy off

The car behind has to yield once he is in front. There's no universe where this is x's fault. You obviously don't know much about racing.

@@Sutti4844 racing line is good for 3-5laps, then you know the track. when you keep it, its easy to develop bad habits like forcing the car back to the racing line when you make a mistake on corner entry, where instead you should alter your line to a new one to compensate for the bad entry. you get much faster when you turn it off.
For Ovals sure but the racing line helps him learn faster, if he turned it off atm he would be struggling he is still very much in the learning basics stage.
