i agree about the rig and wheel stuff but the racing line really isn't helping him, even Justin Yee said in his latest video that the racing line is teaching Felix the wrong line so at least for oval racing it could help to turn it off

Even in practice, its better to learn the reference points for breaking, turn in and throttle then to try following the line. Because the reference points are adaptable for each car and also gives you much better intuition for new cars, and also makes you more flexible during races.
so dope to see him ranking up so quick.... these ferarris are difficult cause they have no weight on the front end (all in back), so you constantly need to keep the fronts gripped up with weight of the car, normally trail braking everywhere, and more straight lines of exit than other cars...

Love to see you starting to cook! Just a general suggestion to improve a lot in these cars - don't be on a rush to push the throttle on exit. If you go on the gas to early, the car will understeer out and you need to lift in order to correct it (in other words it makes you lose time). Go slow in, be fast out. Great job so far though, huge improvement from the first videos we saw!

Bro, that Force feedback meter at the top right corner of your screen is going red way too often. In this way you'll lose too much detail in your wheel. You should lower your wheel's force feedback strength in the iracing settings to have the Force feedback meter always in the green. Good luck in your sim racing journey!

I learned with the line for a few weeks initially and then I turned it off to see if I could still drive a lap consistently. I actually improved without the line because it's just wrong in so many areas. I wish they would fix it honestly, or work on making a dynamic line that changes depending on how you drive.
Since he seems to be playing iracing and potentially more racing games in general. He may as well go all out on a rig. He doesn't need the three monitor setups, but something to where he is more comfortable to sit and play the game with. Just hire somebody to order and build the shit for you and have everything there in the corner to plug and play. I'm talking microphone, mouse, keyboard, adjustable camera, DD wheel, and load cell pedals. All with a click of a button on obs.

May not know what a chicane is, but still knows the idea behind what he is saying and is correct. Js. Thats miles ahead of most sim racers that have done this regularly for years, sadly... Speaking as someone that has sim raced forever.
