I started listening to your reviews hoping you wouldn't mention any of my faves and wow, I made it through and you didn't mention any song I've loved this year. Although did worry a bit when Meghan Trainor popped up. She's a bit goofy but i always feel like defending her. I am wondering if I should go check out the Drake Wa Gwan. Because, well, I'm Jamaican-American and I do have a love of songs done in any kind of hood, boonies, or ethnic vernacular. BTW, your Southern drawl was not half-bad.
About wah gwan Delilah: the song is supposed to be set in Toronto, not Jamaica. I'm not sure if they're using any patois in the song, but I know a lot of it is Toronto slang.

burn by tx2 is actually about homophobia. the fact that you thought it was a breakup song says everything about how terrible it is.
