    This song is about epic terracotta armies fighting ancient dragons on the wall of China. Cool.
    This song was made with FL studio 10 with several different virtual instrument libraries (EastWest/Quantum Leap, Best Service, Bela D Media etc.).

    As a Chinese, I never heard this piece of music before.
    Actually, this music is composed by Antti Martikainen, an independent composer from Finland. I think he has grabbed the essence of the classical Chinese music. Bravo!
    I used to overlooked the drum in chinese music, now I find it great just as it in the africa and western music.

    Cultural inclusiveness and military strength are two major advantages for Chinese agricultural Civilisation. Through history, you only see the Chinese territory expand because people join in the Chinese people. Chinese identity is based on cultural identity, not ethnicity. In fact, Chinese are descendants of many different ethnic groups in history. These ethnic groups' record eventually disappeared from history, because they all assimilate together and become our great ancestors.

    • @Vict0r1984
      @Vict0r1984 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      lichwind exactly! China always was a multiethnic empire probably as far back as the Xia dynasty, but definitely so in Imperial times from Qin Shi Huang onwards. This is one of the things that I, as a westerner, find most fascinating about China - that it stayed united for milenia in spite of many dynastic changes, civil wars, a Mongol invasion and as of late even devastating Western imperialist wars (opium or boxer rebellion) and Japanese invasion, being a multiethnic empire of dozens/hundreds of peoples throughout all this time! (I also find impressive how many ancient traditions it's kept alive from Confucius's three kingdoms period philosophy to even older gods and mythology) Frankly China is living proof to altright and nationalist idiots that ethnocentrism is bullshit and that a great country takes strength from a multiethnic background, as opposed to being hindered by it...

    • @WinfieldCherry
      @WinfieldCherry 6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Vict0r1984 Your statements contradict themselves. China had thousands of years of history, and the many sub-groups of China have lived amongst each other for millennia. In addition to this, China is an enormous country, both in terms of geographical size and population. In contrast take Germany, now Germany (historically speaking) has also had a variety of sub-groups. From Bavarians to Prussians. Said groups felt connected by their German blood, yet at the same still represented their own individual groups. Hell, Bavarian soldiers utterly refused to defend 'Prussian' land during the Great War, because why would a Bavarian care to defend Prussia? Take into consideration that Germany is a multitude times smaller than China. Now as for your statements about the 'Alt-Right' and 'Nationalist Idiots' I have a few points to make:
      1. As you said, the Chinese peoples have lived amongst each other for millennia, the same cannot be said of the English and say, the Mali peoples. Whereas the Manchu and Han and Yue have remained relatively united for thousands of years, the Italians, for example, share literally no connection with the Bantu of Sub-Saharan Africa. They share no Cultural, Linguistic, nor Genetic connection with one another, the majority of Bantu and Italians don't even belong to the same Haplogroup.
      2. No country that is entirely within Europe (therefore excluding the Russian Federation) can even remotely match China in size. Even then, there have been a multitude of migrations into Europe in the past 2,000 years alone. Ever heard of the Dacians? The Illyrians? The Sami? The Iberians? These people were replaced by larger ethnic groups that migrated across Europe. The Dacians were at first absorbed by the Romans, however modern studies reveal that many modern Romanains belong to the R1a haplogroup, hinting that plenty of ancient Dacians were absorbed by the Slavic tribes migrating into the Balkans. The Illyrians had a similiar fate, the Sami still exist to a lesser extent in northern Finland. And finally the Iberians were absorbed by the Italic peoples. This is fairly common throughout European history, which is why Europe displays such a large amount of Genetic diversity. (Moslty within the R Haplogroup)
      3. It's Ironic that you say 'Nationalist Idiots' when the Republic of Tawain is the remnant of the Chinese Nationalist.
      4. Many empires based off of Ethnocentrism (that are similiar in size to modern European countries) existed in ancient times. The Semitic peoples, such as the Assyrians and Babylonians, dominated ancient Mesopatamia for thousands of years.
      In summary, just because European countries are smaller, and therefore display less cultural variety, does not mean that Europe should simply allow foreign cultures to 'Saturate' their own. The amount of Culture displayed in Europe is actually quite proportionate to China, once you consider that Europe has never been completely united like China has. You'd be surprised, the Genetic differences between Russians and Bulgarians, Frenchmen and Bavarians, and even Spaniards and the Irish, are quite smaller then you likely are willing to believe.

      MCNatel Sorry to ruin your history lesson here but Genkhis Khan was from the Mongolian Empire. The largest but very short lived empire that ever existed. It stretched from the borders of China (at that time I guess The Great Wall) all the way to the middle of Europe. The only reason why Europe was spared was because their Khan died so they retreated to choose a new one.
