- Soldiers stand at the ready - some with spears, others with swords. Banners proudly held high, they await their enemy with great anticipation. For now, the foe has yet to emerge from behind their gloomy mountains, though the rumbling sound of massed footsteps has already begun to fill the air...

The gongs and taiko koda war drums are very strategically used by Japanese emperors to win the war mentally
yes it would intimidate the enemy and make them feel as though they are about to fight soldiers way stronger than them. But also it could serve as a way to keep the soldiers in order i.e when the drum is being played, move forward etc... And it could also help the soldiers stay aware of their surroundings and to stay aware of their fellow soldiers. Plus it also helps to keep them motivated.

Can I use this Music for a small Showcase of my 6th Century Europe Add-on using New Katanas like Maru, Kobuse, Makuri, and the Famous Soshu Kitae by the Swordsmith Masamune, in the video it's simple, I show the 3 swords and I use an Enchanted Soshukitae Katana and Fight the Imperial Army that is European by the Way....

I use Cubase for my DAW.
Most of the percussion is from 8Dio, the tonal Japanese instruments are from Impact Soundworks and the orchestral elements are usually from Spitfire or ProjectSAM.

Is still taiko drums, but its a rim shot, like instead of hitting the leather they hit the edge of the drum with the sticks
