Bone chilling cold. I grew up in Jax, spent 10 years in NYC, and the cold in Jax is something else. iIt's that wet cold that hits so hard.

I agree, the public transportation in Jacksonville is horrible. It was horrible when I relied on public transportation and I heard the public transportation is worse now. And he is right when travelling to one of Jacksonville to another, it seems like it takes forever, so yeah put on some music, podcast, or something to distract you from how long it's going to take you.

I'm born and raised in Jacksonville. Plans to move back in 2024
I still go back home for shopping, activities and the friendliness of a people there is Wonderful. I moved to the Palm Coast area for work in 2014, after a 9 month short stay in Tampa, Fl, and other personal & work related reasons, But definitely continue to go back home to Jacksonville at least 2 to 3 times a month, got lot of family and friends there. It's a wonderful place ❤❤❤
PS! I lived in Tampa, Florida Due to job related reasons for 9 months and I hurried and got the h*** up OUT OF THERE! It's a horrible place to live in TAMPA, and the people Are Not friendly at all. Nasty with Attitudes! I wouldn't go back to Tampa, It's like a spirit of arrogance and Discombobulation Hovers over that whole entire Tampa Florida area. Stay away from Tampa. Jacksonville Has a lot of family traditions and love. The activities the best! weather and of grand amount of things to do fun wise activities? I can't wait? To. Get back?❤❤❤❤😀

Jacksonville seems like a great place to move. The housing market is so phenomenal compared to anywhere over here on the West Coast.
We have sooooo many customers that come from the west coast and say the same thing!
Almost anywhere in the nation is better than the west coast.

My biggest complaint is the traffic. It’s only going to get worse as more people move to Jax.
It’s sucks plus they don’t no how to drive. They love tailgating u out there and cutting u off

Hey there Pablo! Jacksonville is a great place for newcomers! There is so much to explore, job opportunities are great! The Southside of Jax is a great location for young professionals. Ortega is nice, there are more single homes. I can't comment too much on the rental market in that area.

Yep the public bus is horrible here and there are lots of bugs here. Definitely need pest control here

Roaches in Florida can fly!!!!
I'm with you on that. The large flying roaches are what keeps me from moving there. I don't know how people can adjust to dealing with those.

Roaches large enough and brazen enough to pick you up and kick you out of your own house. Then they will eat your sandwich. I miss home. Just can't find a job down there that pays enough to survive on. Rent and houses are out of control!
I was good until you said Transportation a family may have one car need to go the same time to another location. No trains or subway then you stranded or stuck. The Pest Lizards and bugs no negotiation on this one. I'm out! It was good for you sharing. People who have the stamina and tough mindset like you will adjust.

Born and raised in Jax, plans to movie back in 2024. In the Palm Coast Florida area due to a job, but I miss Jax. There is always something to do day & night. The people are friendly, and I hope back to visit 2 to 3 times per month. Shopping is AWESOME!❤

@@jamiemason943 housing is stable here so you should be able to find something. But if you’re looking for an apartment, that is close to everything I would recommend 54 Magnolia. It was an amazing apartment until I bought some thing.
So Jacksonville is a no for me then. I am a clean freak and I can’t have cockroaches in my house.
