i think ending was convincing and good, all so many extra characters did not matter much for me as they had no much greater role and many i forgot but its good to see that superman story has moved on forward to be coming father, grandfather and having, sons, grandchildren like ordinary human family after all it was all about personal family life.
Also the twins children become super as well and honestly can go on forever, i am sure over time the families of the boys weee taken to fortress for training, history and guidance, help if hurt...Tao should return at some point to deal with all thats happened hopefully he married, mateo joins steel team to continue his fathers idea to save the world in the right way along side Nat. Sara stayed in Europe and Sophie keeps the Kents secrets as well as the town of smallville, OMG this could go on forever

As with all great shows that end prematurely, soo many plotlines are left unresolved. Does it matter. Not really. I had so many questions about Lost,that I was depressed for a week. Why didn't the Island save Jack. After awhile I realized that this show just like many other shows were pulled from somebody's ass,and in the scheme of things,really doesn't matter. Although I loved it.
