      Yeah u will be absolutely correct. We have many Indians working in Nigeria between late 70s and early 80s especially in medical field and teaching of science subjects. Indian teachers taught me physics, biology mathematics and additional mathematics

      50 If you are destined for eternal life, one day you will hear the words of your Creator through the prophet whom He will send to you, and the opposition and rejection and persecution of your family will not overcome you. You will take conscience and you will change your life. You will travel miles like the Magi for your Salvation. Even if you were born in a very distant land in the midst of a Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Hinduist or Jewish family, you will not die in these satanic religions but you will seek God everywhere and every day of your life and you will find Him through the living prophet of your time before your death.

      Yeah....looks great from an elevated view doesn't it? It doesn't show the garbage laid in the streets, the poor road conditions or the more insidious side of government corruption, siphoning of money meant for improving the city, but instead, lining the pockets of the rich.

      There is no reporting whatsoever on Africa in Western Media. As the kids on Twitter say, "SMH"

    • @veroniquendambo3242
      @veroniquendambo3242 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Those who are already over here in Africa are always portraying a bad image of Africa and Africans. In fact, they do not want their fellow citizens back home to discover how filthy rich they are getting with the many allowances they are getting. Here in Africa, all of them want to live by the seaside, have apartments with swimming pools, drive powerful 4×4 SUVs, travel back home twice per year on business class. The list of perks they are entitled to is endless even if most of the so called expats do not even hold secondary school certificates. It should remain a secret amongst a minority of expats. All in all, they enjoy a privileged status working in a confiscated land: Africa! Mind you, I bet even some people in Europe, Asia or America would not believe these images are from Africa. But they are not to blame because most of them are ignorant. They would rather rely on those truncated stories told by the so called experts and specialists on Africa, most of whom have neither set foot in Africa nor do they know where such and such countries are located on the world map. Africa is a continent but not a country! They can't make a difference because their knowledge in the world's geography is rather scanty if not non-existent. I'm not insulting anyone but this is plain truth.

    Thanks for the upload. Nice shots of Victoria Island, Eko Atlantic and a little bit of Ikoyi then marina.
    I think Ikoyi/Osborne and banana Island along With Lekki phase 1, VGC. Chevron and the rest on the Lekki corridor would also add to the shots of the island side of Lagos.
    I'm still waiting for a single video that covers the wider urban area which will include majority of the mainland such as Ikeja, Magodo, Surulere, Gbagada, Festac and the likes. Even though they don't have high rise buildings like the islands, some bits especially around Ikeja, Amuwo Odofin GRA and Magodo will look good on drone shots.

Many here still are only shown the worst of our lands and base their opinions on western media that will never show our true intelligence and accomplishments. The first 2 metro lines (the Blue and the Red) in Lagos will be completed by December 2022; construction is already underway on the next line out of what will eventually be 7 metrolines in Lagos; covering the mainland and Islands and reaching down to Badagry.

      Nigeria really needs to build a lot of other mass transit systems for its megacities: the Kano Light Rail, perhaps converting the narrow gauge rail line in Ibadan into a commuter/suburban rail network (since the standard gauge railway is replacing it anyways), an Abuja light rail network that would serve actual populated districts, and maybe a light metro for Port Harcourt. I hope it can get those mass transit projects done. Nigeria is a country with massive potential that the world still hasn't seen! Love from the US!

      Nigerians know that Nigerian is at the same time very poor and very rich. The corruption, greed and lack of basic decency is factually astronomical and lives alongside very industrious people. Don't choose the side of any media but learn the full, balanced narrative from actual Nigerians in Nigeria if you can.
