Port Harcourt refinery, warri refinery, Lagos to calabar express road and coastal railway, start quickly with the northern high roads linking all northern key states with good railway networks and please add the kaduna refinery with electricity for all in Nigeria.......... With all these achieved Bola Tinubu will one of the greatest president Nigeria ever have!!!!!!
The six-lane plan with a rail line is ideal. Funding is vital to completing this project on time so that the economy will begin to experience more activity.
Please abeg, Federal government. It is not building all these infrastructures that matters. Because after completion, constant maintenance is necessary.
Budget was approved for 10 lanes though. Now that it has been reduced to 6 lanes, what happens the excess? Is there a provision for Train 🚉 all through to Calabar of the project?... 🤔 🤷🏾♂️
The original plan placed the train track along the Lagos-Calabar road between the TRAFFIC LANES . However, another source indicates the track will now run ALONGSIDE THE LANES . I'd like to confirm if this latest information is accurate. Can anyone with current knowledge clarify the latest plans for the train track?
There has been no visual presentation of the Lagos Calabar highway design from the ministry of infrastructure. If you want to be certain, listen to the Minister. He said it would be at the center of the highway not beside. Given the situation between the two rail lines and their design we can tell that having the rail at the center of the highway is safer for our own people.
Honourable Minister well done for your good job we Nigerian Youth a more proud of you and the Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu but to mention of reducing 10 lane to 6 lane is disappointing to we the Nigerian Youth.. this project is what we boost and proud of to other African countries.. Please sir reconsider your strategies what we all expected is 10 lane no less.. we want your name and that of Mr President to be an icon for generations to come. thank you sir Honourable Minister of works Mr David Umahi 10 lane please not 6 lane
Once the tax reform bills has been signed money will come for rail projects. The Minister of rail said the president has told the Chinese president about all our rail projects. Whats remaining is funds. Get ready to be taxed.
Reducing to 6 lanes is not a smart move. You should always plan for 30 years ahead at least. By reducing the lanes you are merely creating problems down the road when the road would not be able to handle the volume thereby rendering it ineffective. It is better to spend the money now and let the road pay for itself by charging tolls.
@@adekunleyussuf4259as long as it been done to accomdate rail line then is good infact we us actually grow at peace we need rail lines and pipeline infrastructure for oil so we will stop seeing as much trucks on our roads
South East is part of repayment of the debts but they were not included in the scheme of any infrastructural development. They carefully draw the coastal line in order never to benefit South East same thing they did when constructing light train lines across other zones.
@@omoesho-1984 the railway they built throughout Northern region to Niger Republic balance the equation, so what did they have in South East because you sounded like Agbadorian.
Aptly, it has always been designated as a "Coastal Highway" for real.. Which of the S.E States geographically qualifies as a Coastal State to begin with? Say something else Bro.. Isn't the Niger Bridge 🌉 comparatively beneficial to the S.E more than any other region primarily at least as just completed by the last administration against all odds? Be objective for once without cheap bias and crass sentiments 😂
Being a coastal highway, It supposed to be on a bridge from start to finish because of the proximity to the ocean. Give it few years and the ocean comes closer. Now are they gonna start spending huge money to dredge and push the ocean away? Dont forget global warming increasing ocean size evwry year! I hate why they are building a road by the ocean. No one does that - it damages the beautiful beeches and nature!
Other developed countries has coastal roads which is still very much in existence after many year. I know they must include your thoughts in their design consideration. They can also apply the technique used in the eko atlantic ocean barrier construction to salvage the situation. Nigeria is not the first to have coastal roads. Its economically viable and therefore important.
Honestly ignorance is a disease and an embarrassing one at that. You always have something to complain about and your statement sound very foolish. You are suggesting a 700km bridge along the coast line. If I may ask, what's the work of a bridge? Is it not to connect two pieces of land frosted by water? But you are suggesting the construction of a bridge along a coast that has dry land. Did they tell you that the road will be right beside the beach? Omo it would have made sense if you didn't say anything. Apparently a smart engineer won't sound so foolish

Why are they not starting work also from the Calabar end of the road project? That's what makes me believe Tinubu will only do the South West corridor and abandon the project. Umahi will be used and dumped by then😃
Unjust project, Created just to siphon money. Why not use the money to maintain the too many bad roads in the country, we Nigerians are not good at maintaining any built structure.
Honestly, electricity should be handled by each State or private companies not federal government. Also, which roads and railway will they use to transport heavy equipment for power supply?
The previous government has given each state the right to sort their electricity issues. Electricity is something the president has promised he shall fix before his first term is completed, regarding that, we are watching! However a good road network is also very important for the economy not just electricity alone. So the Lagos-Calaba road is in the right direction!
Each state is to take care of electricity issues. The FGN has earmarked money for every state. The question should be addressed to the individual states.
Laws have been reviewed to give state govts power to bud their own power stations. It won't be long before y'all know why we called this man JAGABAN of Africa 🧠
All lies. Misplaced priority. The national roads are in deplorable states. Fraudulent road of 4b per kilo has been Fraudulently reduced to fewer lanes. Awarded to his friends without competitive bidding. You are deceived

Both road and rail is important, the coastal road is very important if not there will be a lots of shanties around the railway corridor
