when chicharito went to man u no one was saying he shoulda went to a diff league instead. huerta should go to the biggest club he can get to. that's how good players are made great

Mexican futbol nerfed itself. Back then liga mx teams played in copa libertadores and relegation and ProMotion was a thing. The level now of liga mx is lower because the league is no longer as competitive as it used to be.

@@Its-Aym the liga mx team owners only want money and like having multiple teams owned by one person or group. Grupo orlegi salinas owns the 4 bottom table teams. Hopefully FIFA forces liga mx to bring back relegation and promotion after the liga mx expansión teams file a claim.

Look at Antony at ManU he hasnt done much. Why not give Huerta a chance at a big club, Remember he played good vs Barcelona. I think he has enough quality to make it at any club in Europe, it might take him a couple matches to adapt but thats normal.

I think the Dutch league or German league would be good for an offensive player like Huerta. He still needs a little more physical for leagues like the Prem or Serie A.

He’s doing good right now and should go to Portugal, ligue 1 or erevidese. It would allow him to take the jump like Andres guardado.

So many things wrong with Mexican football. Not giving academy players a chance to play in Liga Mx. No Pro-Rel to have the best of the best compete. And lastly the long standing tradition that players must take steps. Just compete where ever you go and get there early so you can cultivate a good level of competition and professionalism. Kids from Argentina and Brazil just go for it.

If by Europe you mean a league like the Greek league, or Belgium, maybe Netherlands, then yes

Not everyone who is okay and doing well should go directly to Europe springboard off of MLS first and then go to Europe ( ATL / Hou / La gax. / Atx )

EFL Championship is ranked no.6 and no. 11 while the Eredivisie is ranked 6 and 7 by two different sets of power rankings. MLS is ranked 15 and 16 by the same rankings. Why would an up and coming player burn 2-3 seasons of his prime in MLS when he could go to the likes of Championship or the Eredivisie? Plenty of time post-prime for the old folks home at Mature League Soccer.
Edit for added nuance: There are some rankings where MLS is below 30 or even 50, yet others where they rank ahead of the Eredivisie by 1-2 spots. No matter, the Eredivisie offers the opportunity to qualify/play in one of the European club tournaments (as well as the high-stakes pro/rel).
