Sorry St Pauli fans, but he seems a perfect fit for my club Brighton. Just like your club we also believe in social justice and equality, and our players are very used to the system Fabian uses. Looks like the new Klopp to me.
Idk everyone talking her up but coming on in the 83rd minute in a tough physical match with all the rain- korea’s defense was done for! Plus the 3 other fantastic subs also made sure to stretch that back line. All this to say of course this girl was able to come on score. They set her up for an easy couple of minutes. Now everyone thinks she’s some kind of genius 😂 great talent there but no way you put her on an Olympic roster based on those few minutes of play
Wait, he was born in Texas to a German Dad and an Swiss Mother and moved back to Germany when he was 2. How the fuck does that make him American?
Brightonnnn here we gooo
CPL and USL would be great to have included into an MLS system. Forge FC has played very well over the last few years as well.
If Miami win the league after Messi returns, it’s gonna be hard to argue he doesn’t deserve it. We have proof how bad the team is without him. Turning a bottom 5 team into a top 3 alone would be insane. But if he can make it #1 then it’s just unfair to give it to anyone else
Mexico may not be good, but Uruguay are also extremely legit. One of the favourites for the Copa América title.
From the press and the fans to the managers… i think that the biggest problem of Mexicans is to underestimate and despise Uruguay, with comments such as… they only time they won any games was when dinosaurs were on earth! Or inappropriate comments like that! They think they are superior. One more thing, In the last 20 years they have changed 20 soccer managers or more… and they always put the blame on them… never on the players!
I don't think these two guys are up to date with women's soccer. She's not the first teenager since Mal Swanson. Jaelyn Shaw is 19. Alyssa Thompson also played in the World Cup last year at 18. Olivia Moultrie played a few games for the senior team at 18 as well. Trinity Rodman debuted on the team at 19. Also, there have been other non-USWNT players to sign with NWSL clubs at age 15-18.
And Mexico fans used to say that Mexico should be in the Conmebol.Ha!Not with this performance.Mexico would be the whipping boys in Conmebol.
Argentina, Uruguay, Brasil > USA, Mechico , Canadá
Mexico nunca existió
I dare Mexico to get grouped.
Pedroza habla muy buen inglés.
Really appreciate the CPL coverage by you guys.
Im from Pachuca and i got food poisoning eating there everything has manteca and our stomachs are not ready for the chorroo
Good.. Mexico and USA continue to play friendlies against inferior teams or play at home alot n then ppl expect them both to be great against superior teams n playing at the road..fifa ranking is joke for that reason..BOTH FEDERATION r so dumb..its expected if they continue
It’s normal to get the runs in Mexico It’s part of the experience
I blame Tata 😂
MLS has to incorporate promo/relegation. Until then, it’s a gimmick league. Games means nothing. It’s unwatchable for me. Can’t wait for euros and copa and the start of the 24/25 top 7 leagues.
Meanwhile the whole leagues cup was on US soil and it was for a reason to benefit the mls teams what a joke he is
Liga mx is the more watched, more respected, and more successful league by a landslide This shouldn't even be a segment tbh

Please stop with the delusion. Mexico was never a world class team. Doesn’t matter who you put on the Mexican squad, they are not at the level of CONCOMBOL. This is partially the Mexican media fault for selling false hopes with Mexico (something they’ve done for decades)
Mexico has suffered 8 goals in two friendly matches. One with Argentina and another with Uruguay. What a way to lose against Río de la Plata.
US has adapted, Chile, Ecuador, and Colombia have also adapted. Mexico have failed to adapt and we’re about to get fucked
Im suprised. With just Nunez thats impossible. We'll check with Brazil.
Well, that's Uruguay sending a warning shot to the U.S. but to be fair USMNT rarely ever gets thrashed.
Lillestrøm Johannes wow we er proud of you God bless 🙏you we whish you God Luck 🇪🇷🇪🇷
Completely agree with you both. I'll take exception only with this - Horan is still a very solid presence and anchor in the midfield after Julie Ertz retired. BUT she can't do that all by herself. To bring Yohannes in for the Olympics you'd have to drop someone. She won't replace Horan or Lavelle and she's not (yet) a 10 so Macario/Shaw stay where they are. Coffee is excellent and well established. That really only leaves Korbin Albert. Albert also plays in Europe and is a true talent. It's a toss-up. But Albert just doesn't have that physical presence and I don't think she yet has the field vision and passing chops Yohannes does. I'd say bring Albert as an alternate and put Yohannes on the team. My money is on her being an X-factor along with that front line juggernaut. She could move up into the 8 and allow Horan to play back in the pivot and that could be a scary midfield: Horan, Lavelle, Coffee, Yohannes plus Macario at the 10.
put Alyssa Thompson in team
Welcome to CPL, I’m not a York fan (wanderers) but I’m familiar with Mora he brings quality to the league
The US should stop oner shadowing these young talents like Olivia and Lily with the veterans. Let these young stars play.
Sad not to see Moultrie in the mix here. I know Hayes really likes her. Expect to see her on a more normal 23-26 player roster.
The US needs to get her and keep her. She is ripe for the team forget her age. For her to have played in champions league says a lot.
If she will commit she should be on the team
Show her some more money. She’ll commit for sure!
She only had like the most two touches every turn, just what Emma is trying to implement so Lily brings decisive actions, timely passing, turns and forward ball continuity. Every time she had the ball the US was facing forward.
Lily ought to be on the roster. She’s the missing link in that midfield like a Sam Mewis, big, tall and just a force who can pass and score goals.
There weren't complaining when sounders won it in their house Also columbus had a chance to host if they took care of business
Club world cup is not a prestigious tournament It's a glorified preseason tournament they're disrespecting afcon for
Lmao that's weak
So that player is saying since it didn't happen against Tigres and Monterrey they were set up in Pachuca
I think she's good , but she's so young, and I could see Emma not bringing her because the lack of experience. I think that was great way to prove herself, but the uswnt has a lot of midfielders, and people are fighting for that spot. Emma might choose her, but I could see her choosing someone with more experience. But if this weren't the Olympics, Lily would 100% be on the roster.
We play Spain in the group stage. You can bet Hayes will regret not having her on the pitch if our midfield gets bypassed/outworked/outclassed. I think that's why she's needed--that Spain match.
Lack of experience really only applies to USWNT context. She's been playing for one of the best teams in the Netherlands women's Eredivisie AND she had lots of experience playing in Champions League. I see Champions League as a much bigger challenge and stage than the Olympics, TBH.
Lets go York United!
MLS player passion is good to see!
Lily needs to be on that roster. Period.
Fuckin cry babies ....they don't know how to loose....
