I agree with you, I like the full frame version of the waterfall photo. Personally I thought both waterfall photos were nice. It would be a close second for the very first image that you took. Great video as usual. A very beautiful setting!

It is lovely to see you back in the forest, your magical land of trees, streams and waterfalls. I prefer the uncropped image in this case. Also, yes there is an image there at 10.59, even though there is lots of sky visible, which is probably what put you off. That cathedral of trees over the river is lovely. The pano at 14.02 is gorgeous. Thanks for a great video.

My favorite landscape photography. Waterfalls. I like to use the drone to get perspectives that would otherwise be unsafe or just plain silly to try to get. Beautiful choice where you were in the video. Nice to see Brian in your videos also, landscape can be a bit lonely sometimes and nice to share. Love the 3rd photo!! Great video, Adam! Cheers mate!

Great episode Adam. I prefer both 1st and 2nd images uncropped. By cropping the first to a panno, you lose the most interesting part at the bottom of the image (IMO). I love the glow on the rocks in the foreground in the second. Someone further down in the comments said it looked like gold and I have to agree
Lovely panno with vibrant colours for the last image too.

I liked both the pano version and the full fame version but I could also see a third interesting perspective by cropping just below the lower maple leaf. Doing so gives the image a totally different mood or feeling and completely changes how the eye travels around the image... the crop tool is soooo powerful...

Another great vid Adam and whilst some people would be happy with your first "uninspiring" image I do see your point. To the second image, definitely the uncropped version for me. Those big boulders in the foreground had Goldish patches, which was a good choice with the full frame image. When you got to the last location and you turned away from the falls to the trees I couldn't help but think not often I would use a fish eye but pulling those tall slender trees over the river may have given a tunnel look if the light would behave. But thank once again for your thoughts and how to get something from not as much as you hoped. Cheers.

Wow, I really love the last pano. You asked about the second pic, full frame or pano. I actually did a screen capture and tried a square crop with that one leaf just slightly right of center. A triangle of boulder right front, left boulders, then the water fall in the background just left of center about a third of the way from the top. That was my favorite crop. I might have cloned the second bigger leaf behind out. [Sorry for the long response, you asked ;-)] Keep 'em coming!

13:57 fantastic image and crop. Natural. No photo stacking, no manipulation and a good pure shot. Real and natural. So hard to get a great image on digital vs film. Back in day we did it on one frame. Great work.
I am so tired of manipulated images. Sky’s put in. 5 year exposures. Color manipulation. I could go on and on. The end result is most of the digital images these days look like Elvis paintings on velvet.
Love your work. TY for sharing.

Both crops are good but between the two I'd lean towards the full frame. That said there is another option and that is the full frame cropped up to just below that large rock, it eliminates the dead portion of the image and makes everything else a bit larger.
