The ENFJ presents so differently, so much more visibly expressive. This is why I think it can seem surprising how similar they are.

Thanks so much for the video! I've been struggling to find my type, and I'm quite on the fence between this two. There are a couple of angles you left out of the video, though, and I'm curious to hear what you (all) think about them.
First of all, you did not mention inferior functions: how would Fi vs Ti compare between these two? I guess that Fi-inf would be more visible, as the Te ruling principle is usually strict, imposing (EJ) rationality (NT) over the world. However, I have a harder time grasping Ti-inf: most sources frame it as "lacking internal logic" which is quite contrary to what you said about ENFJ being logical, just in a different way.
My guess is that, as F is more holistic than T, F-inf is more clear-cut than T-inf, as Te-dom clearly lacks F much more than Fe-dom lacks T. An Fe-dom would mimic Ti in a Ti environment much better than a Te-dom would mimic Fi in an Fi environment. For example, an ENTJ around IFPs will clash much more than an ENFJ around ITPs; you can easily imagine the ENFJ HHRR specialist in an IT company (full of INTPs) navigating the environment much better than the ENTJ boss in a design studio (full of INFPs). ENTJ are very stereotyped in this regard because the "rational ruling principle" is quite objective and straightforward, rational and universal, hence most ENTJ are going to look similar to each other.
The other aspect is related to NFs being in search of identity, while NT being in search of competence. Competence is very objective and, again, quite similar to itself in different contexts (pragmatic); Identity is, by definition, idiosyncratic and more variable on a person-by-person basis.
It all boils down to the ability of Fe-dom to mimic other functions, especially when coupled with Ni-aux. NFs are chameleons, especially NFJ; INFJ are quite famous for this, but I'd argue that ENFJ are even more!
TL;DR: ENFJ are very hard to spot in the wild, due to their being very well-rounded and chameleonic ability. If you're stuck between ENFJ and ENTJ, it's very likely that the answer is ENFJ!

@@sirmadam8183 I could agree... or not.
On the one hand, of course Fi vs Fe helps to differentiate, say, INFP from ENFJ, as it is Dom vs Dom; or even ENFP vs EFNJ, as it's Aux vs Dom and Fi in Aux position is not that different from Fi in Dom position.
But to compare Fe-Dom vs Fi-inf can be very misleading. If you just read standard function description, you can get the impression that ENFJ "use" Fe in the same way as ENTJ "use" Te, which is silly. For example, ENTJ can show Fe in a fake, mechanical way, unlike INFP for example, who will have a harder time doing that. The same goes with ENFJ, showing a fake Te in a way that an INTP could not, or would not.
I'd even go so far as to say that a mature ENFJ can "show" more Fi than an immature ENTJ, because there's quite an overlap between Fi and Fe and the ENFJ is an F while the ENTJ is a T

Thanks for the video! I have gotten the ENTJ type a couple of times when testing, however I always felt that was wrong. This video solidifies for me that ENFJ is much more appropriate

These two seem fairly obviously different, but surprisingly similar. -Your INFJ brethren

I like how i've been widdling down what type I am and have climbed the ladder up to ENTJ, way stereotypical
