Idk, I can't really put my feelings into words but I think it's beautiful that this is the birth of a star who has changed the lives of many. I only discovered Vocaloid in 2019 but I wish I was one of those long-time fans who have been there from the beginning. It must be like watching your child grow up from still having lots to learn, no idea that they'll become the most inspiring idol aka The First Sound Of The Future.

There's something so special about this video, knowing that this was the first-ever appearance of Hatsune Miku. Witnessing Hatsune Miku being brought to life and unleashed onto the world (though technically that happened 2 days after) all those years back makes me emotional. Truly a historic moment.
Happy to live in a world were vocaloid producers are free to choose the topic of their songs, the tunes that they want and she's not exclusive and closed to the use of a greedy or boring company, it's a symbol of the people that use the program and the people that enjoys those creations, many are extremely entertaining, reflexive, and over all they were created for the sake of make art and have fun with the concept of Vocaloid and the freedom of creativity
@ you're right but man, there are too many producers and many are trying hard (underrated) that are really original or trying new somethings or mixing cool things in order to create a new style, I'm tired of always listening to the "most popular/mainstream" genres or repetitive trends and Miku, Vocaloid, and other voice banks, and also indie musicians are here in youtube doing their best and finding them feels so amazing; giving the little support of sharing them, giving my like, subscription and comments. I don't hate supah popular music, but Vocaloid still a niche despite some songs hitting +100M views, and there are some new people acting like twitter beings complaining about things that are easily solved by not listening/watching the content they don't like from some creators. Final comment: I'm happy for many producers that I follow and hope to keep discovering new musicians and cool people on internet!
The fact this demo (which I'm assuming is her debut?) portrays Miku with this new curiosity and modesty. Her expressions are shy, and gentle. A massive far cry to how the world sees her today, being this bouncy, adorable personality. And most people see the character, not a program or voice pack. So, seeing this could easily bring someone to tears because its genuinely the most modest, but strongest of starts because the song is great.

I was six when my dad found her, he was studying Japanese and downloaded Project Diva F demo. Once I'd heard her voice I almost instantly became addicted. I was a year old when she was made so I kinda see her as a younger sister.
She is a program called Vocaloid. It's a program where you can pretty much just input songs and she will sing them. There are other Vocaloids too. For Example, Len and Rin kagamine are another one. This is Miku Hatsune. Look up some of her other stuff. You'll be addicted like the rest of us soon. XDD
