I never really understood concerts. Don’t rlly get the whole spending money in tickets to go see songs being performed in person when I can listen to them on Spotify or TH-cam. But after watching this for a sum total as of right now, 3 hours, I rlly envy the people who got to hear this song being performed live. I suddenly get what the purpose of the concerts can be for, both the audience and performers.

You feel the music all over and inside your body and the feedback between artist and audience is wonderful. It's about so much more than listening to the music. It's a sharing experience, it's communication. You're there to show how thankful you are to the creator(s) so you want to do your best to express your support and this makes the artist perform even harder. As for a Miku concert I suppose they'd be fun because it's Miku and the live band rocks.

I've been a Miku fan since 2008 when I heard Melt for the first time on TH-cam. I've wanted to go to one of these for a very long time, but I live in a rural area of the US and I have bills to pay lol. Maybe someday I'll get to go to one. 💚
It's very apparent the stage was designed for the transparent screen and then got the LED last minute... That being said, I went to Detroit and fulfilled my 12 year dream of seeing Miku live. Would go again no questions asked.
i’m like 99% sure they definitely planned the screen the whole time solely because if you compare the 2024 penlight to literally any of the older penlights, the 2024 one is infinitely brighter than the older ones. and the only reason it would be like that is because they knew a brighter penlight wouldn’t interfere with the projection… because there was never going to be one in the first place😭
The stage has too many lights behind it I don’t think the transparent screen was planned at all especially since they used it for mikufes24 that concert was announced in December
I disagree. If it was transparent they wouldn't have put so many spotlights to appear behind the sceeen. To me this is apparent that they never had transparent in mind.

The main problem I have with the LCD screen is not the screen itself, it's the way it is integrated with the rest of the stage. You can very easily see where the screen ends. If they have to use the LCD, then they should not have any lights near the screen or behind it. (I hope you understood that)

Oh man being the first venue of the tour before you continously corrected the setup so that the screen didn't stand that much from the back lights and the smoke, I'm kinda bummed that this video doesn't show the better results of that setup in the later shows º^º Regardless, great job to the team with the live audio recording!!!! I don't understand why they didn't have any TV-monitors on the sides showing the camera footage, so that people further back also could see Miku's and the band's expressions. They've done that on previous Miku Expos, but not on this one. It also bothers me that they didn't add some cool effects or backgrounds for the songs, since they used an LED screen here. Especially during the "Miku Miku Beam" part. They could at least make her eyes glow or something. If you got virtual idols in a concert, make them do cool things like that every now and then!
