“You’re not that important”… 🤣 I love it!!! Ironically, we are so busy telling people “you’re important”, “you’re special”, snowflake, etc. when sometimes the absolute most important thing someone can tell us is “you’re not that important”. There’s way less pressure when you’re not the center of the universe. You can fail, get back up, have bad hair days, and be free to learn and grow when not everything revolves around you! Not to mention it teaches you to look around and be aware and be compassionate toward others!
Years ago I was watching Dr Phill and he had a woman on there that was attractive, who had a problem with jealousy about her husband. She was so scared that he would look at another woman and find her more attractive, and eventually have an affair with her. (Which was not his plan to begin with!)So she felt she had to try to be as beautiful to him in every way that she could to keep him from having ‘wandering eyes’. And Dr Phill said something to her that I’ll never forget…he said, “you know, you’re not the most beautiful woman in the world.” The reaction he got from her was priceless, but he said it to let her know that there will always be someone better than you, but that doesn’t make you any less of a person than they are. It’s a fact of life that we all have to deal with. I wish I could remember what else he said, but that part really struck me because he was brutally honest, and that’s what we need.
This was a really great chat, thank you Lisa & Megan, so many good reminders that failure ultimately is our greatest teacher, that hard doesn’t have to always be hard, and to live our best lives right now! 💛
I really needed this and a bonus it's 2 of my favorites. I'm just normally a silent follower. A year into my channel and while I have many shorts, I've only done 2 videos. Time and fear have definitely interfered.

I don’t have a TH-cam channel but I’m a piano teacher, music minister and stay at home mom. Hope folks are encouraged to launch their channel and I pray for their success!

Great conversation. Started a book review page on FB which lead to a business that I currently run now here in VA which lead to me now starting a youtube channel on my business and gardening. Encouraged to do this by watching Megan. I am finally getting more comfortable in front of the camera which is my iPhone lol. Two of the SWEETEST and REAL young moms out there! I am pushing 68 and LOVE being inspired.... STILL! I want Megan to do a few tutorials for using my Cricut...which I bought after seeing how much she uses hers.... but I am a show me girl, so .....I have gotten a slow start! Megan, think a second grade explanation for me, OK? THe sour dough is going to be a staple all winter....YOU GIRLS!!!! Do love you both!
I love Megan fox's channel, you won't find her copying other TH-camrs or trying to be the same as them,she is totally unique and her own person. She puts out fabulous realistic content and very popular for being so unique. I watch a couple of menonite lady's TH-cam channels and they are all just so independent of each other and none of them try to be like the other.
It was fun to find this video. Megan has become my favorite TH-camr to watch and I think a lot of it is because of her bubbly personality and seeing how much joy she finds in motherhood and homemaking which is honestly something I have always struggled with and she is so encouraging that way. Even though my life is different with 8 kids ages 7-21 she is just a breath of fresh air with her laughter and she has such a beautiful relationship with her husband and children. I enjoy those chatty videos where you feel like you get to know a person.

I love this one! Also love hearing that you started later doing youtube Im 30 and felt like I was behind. I started one a few months ago and then gave it up but been wishing to try again. I realised I did almost all my videos the wrong way vertically instead of horizontally which was very discouraging but definetly going to try again after watching this! Also just love watching you and your instagram 😁 you just seem so down to earth!
I consider your work a proper job and to delegate chores or even related technical jobs to you tube is completely understandable. As long as the kids are fine do not take criticism seriously, it's jalousie
