  • Nikola Tesla was a Serbian American inventor who died poor because, although he was a brilliant scientist, he was bad at handling his financial affairs. He spent virtually every cent he had on new experiments and was always in need of more funding. Join us, as we look at 20 secret inventions by Nikola Tesla that shocked the world.

    Nikola Tesla
Nikola Tesla was a Serbian American inventor, best best-known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current electricity supply system he can be seen in our thumbnail shaking hands with a friend of his, or possibly, one of his creations. Never in human history has a man been so both revered and reviled as Nikola Tesla. The brilliant inventor, who is credited with groundbreaking discoveries such as the remote control and alternating current, was also well-known for his bizarre ideas and strange inventions. Failures, disappointments, financial difficulties, emotional breakdowns, and separation from the rest of the scientific world hampered his trip.
Nikola Tesla became an inspiration for many scientists who refused to be boxed in, after his death. His insane ideas continue to ring true in the hearts of many people who, like him, choose to go beyond the stars and are not afraid to show the world the fruits of their imagination. The Serbian American inventor’s reputation is often connected with his contributions to the development of alternating-current electricity, but his work also ventured into the world of robots. While Tesla did not invent robots in the contemporary sense, he was a pioneer in the field of automatons, which are mechanical machines that can perform tasks on their own. Tesla's work paved the way for eventual advances in robotics and remote control. His ideas were ahead of their time, and while he did not create robots as we know them today, his tele-automation was a significant step forward in the evolution of robotic technology.
    Tesla's Egg of Columbus
Tesla spent a terrible winter working as a ditch digger from 1886 to 1887 after being driven out of Tesla Electric Light Company with nothing except worthless shares. He persevered and was motivated to improve his concept of generating energy through spinning magnetic fields. However, Tesla recognized that he had to find a means to convince investors and supporters to comprehend the potential of his innovation. Tesla created a gadget to demonstrate the concept: an electromagnetic motor that generated the force required to spin a brass egg and stand it upright. The contraption was dubbed the ""Egg of Columbus"" by Tesla after the historical anecdote in which Christopher Columbus challenged the Spanish court and investors to stand an egg upright.
When they failed, Columbus took an egg and squashed the bottom flat to keep it upright. They accused him of pulling a cheap trick, but Columbus overcame their objections by explaining that an idea can appear impossible until a smart solution is found, at which time it becomes simple. This idea was incorporated into Tesla's Egg of Columbus, which he used to illustrate his concept of alternating current power to investors. It was a stroke of genius that resulted in investment from investors Alfred S. Brown, the director of Western Union, and Charles F. Peck, a New York City attorney

Tesla wasn’t bad with money. He needed a large “constant” cash flow in order to carry on either inventions. The problem was that sponsors etc. weren’t of the same mindset. He was far, far, ahead of his time. Others who weren’t up,to the plate made, made millions. Tesla wanted free energy for the world. Companies didn’t want that, they wanted to make huge amounts of money. Tesla had a conscience, unfortunately most other inventors at the time…. didn’t.

Tesla was doing things that created problems for investors to see any gain. The only problem is Tesla was doing things way ahead of his time. Just imagine where we would be right now if a investor had the same vision as Tesla? ELON was on a good path even though his work is mostly from other geniuses, but he was doing good things. Now it seems the more money Elon makes, more more batshit crazy he gets. Its really too bad Tesla was buried by Edison BS. Even though Tesla was miles ahead, Edison just played the game better.

When he started SpaceX he was much more humble than he is now. SpaceX almost bankpupt him. It came dow to 1 launch being successful. If it were not, he would have been done. Those are his humble years. He also took a GOOD PATH, by doing something everybody said was impossible. Landing a booster rocket. It wasnt impossible. It would just too much money and work to do it. Thankfully ELON did that. The when the money started rolling in and clearely shows how much money and power absolutely corrupt how people think. I have been to Warren Buffets house and even spoke with his wife on one occasion during some contract work. That man has a older truck (80s maybe) his wife said she can not convince Warren into buying a new vehicle. They dont live in a overly exotic house either. I was really amazed one of the richest people in the world could happily live a humble lifestyle without just blowing money on flashy shit just to show their wealth. Some rich people have class, and ELON lost that a long time ago.

Yep, in short, he was screwed, particularly by Edison who had a penchant for ripping off his ideas then selling them (including a %cut for himself) to make money. If he had of been able to get the upper hand early on in his life, we would be at least a century further ahead in our tech now. No oil/petroleum industry (the petrol/fuel part that is) no need for a massive rail infrastructure etc - the people/families who owned these (then) new & burgeoning industries did not like this, or him one bit. So they went to extreme lengths to protect themselves & their lesser technologies.. he was a flat out genius, at least a century ahead of his time. He had, at the time of his death, the finished plans for the global electric system mentioned here (sort of mentioned) he had the mathematical equations & tech blueprints for a system, using the Earth as the giant magnet it is & the planets system of Leylines to indeed generate free limitless energy for our civilization for millennia to come.... these plans & equations etc were in the one third? of his true inventions that were stolen after his death... He has been my hero since a was a child.., if only Edison & those (I shan't name them here) families had realised that in this man they had found true technology that they could set their families (& us) up for thousands of years.. imagine a world a century ahead of ours, a space industry (& space force) a century ahead. A world where no one need work, where money no longer existed, etc... these people knew this & didn't just screw him over, they screwed over all of us, our entire race.....

But, the worst thing Edison ever did was to electrocute dogs, cats, horses and an elephant on purpose to show off his Direct Current. He knew that Tesla’s Alternating Current was better, but killing all those animals only proved to me that he was an unmerciful, self consuming user, more concerned with making money than helping his fellow men! - The narrator makes it sound like Nikola Tesla conceptualized the first electric car in 1931. The first electric vehicles (EVs) were created during the mid 1830s,, nearly 200 years ago. The narrator failed to mention the craziest/most innovative aspect Tesla's EV. It wasn't battery powered. It was powered by the static ambient energy that constantly surrounds us. In other words, Free Energy. Tesla did not care for living a lavish wealthy lifestyle. He genuinely wanted his inventions to advance humanity beyond this primitive paradigm of power and control.

I will add he had some hateful greedy people on his back like jp morgan, Edison who claimed inventions were his as well as other inventors. When they couldnt profit from him they blackballed him. Like others have said, he wanted his intentions to be used to benefit the people and not weaponised.

Tesla's Greatest problem was his Worst Enemy and that was his heart. Because he had a great heart filled with Love, he wasn't able to compromise with abandoning his ethics. Because of his ethics he had No greed. And unfortunately, this world runs on greed and his lack of it made him lousy at business. Other than that he was constantly sabotaged by Evil, greedy men.
This World owes Tesla Everything, for All We have today that is Good is because of him and what he feared the most was his knowledge used for Evil and Evil is what Won, which Is unfortunate for Us and the World itself.

Believe it or not, Da Vinci was the first to create a working animatronic, in a way. He designed and made an animated suit of armor which would be triggered by a boat entering a castle from the moat. If you entered the tunnel, it would trigger the valve to open the flow of water into the knight’s water mills that’s articulated gears and cables that caused the knight, who was sitting, to stand up from his chair, and stand at attention.
He tried to sell it to those rich that lived in castles who could have to pay one less knight for security. If he could make it all look real enough, it would frighten any invader believing the knight was a Sentry guarding the tunnel. It wasn’t going to keep out an army, but it would frighten some would-be intruders and spies.
Like most of his inventions, far ahead of their time, he couldn’t get any kings to fund this endeavor. It’s sad because we would be at least 100 years ahead of where we are in technology had more of those kings and other powerful people thought he was just an eccentric screwball artist. They all thought of him as just being an artist and Da Vinci tried to even improve art painting techniques in an attempt to speed up fresco painting. He thought that he could hand heating pots in an attempt to set the plaster, so he could paint into the dry plaster, rather then painting into the wet plaster as was used for hundreds of years.
That was one of DaVinci’s few failures, since the paint melted and ran. Like most geniuses pushing forward ideas and being bold enough to try different experiments and have many failures, before a tremendous outcome can push education further.

Modern day pellet guns use a similar using projectile but not made of metal.

The idea is simple, frequency, vibrations and light waves, (which were Tesla' forte), can be bended as proven by Einstien during an eclipse. As light rays bend around the object, you can not see the object, rendering it invisible.

I think he was wanting to use harmonics and radio waves to pull power from the upper atmosphere, and distributed to distribution points that you could connect to remote areas and have power from the upper atmosphere, that’s not what happened at the end, though he had sold the right to fluorescent lighting to George Westinghouse, who supposed to fund his research at Wardenclyffe, when Mr. Westinghouse found out that Tesla was going to provide free power. He had his goon squad come in and smash all of Tesla‘s work and he quit his funding then Tesla sued him for damages Tesla one he won the lawsuit. The judge awarded Nikolai one dollar in damages. The real loss was all the hundreds of experiments he was still doing there he found fired upward and Cliff one time supposedly it cost a huge lightning storm
