I think it's really cute that Gunter's one true wish was to be like the Ice King. Because if you remember correctly, this isn't the first time a Gunter has wanted to be like his ice patriarch. The original dinosaur Gunter wanted to be more like Urgence Evergreen, meaning that even though our penguin Gunter was a disobedient little punk, he still loved and admired the Ice King.
Gunter's true wish wasn't to become the Ice King, that wish has already been spent by Gunter the dinosaur, GOLB reverted the crown back to it's original state (Where the wish is yet to be granted) and Betty made a wish. And when Gunther (The Penguin) made that wish, it wasn't inside of GOLB which means the wish has already been taken, which was to become Urgence Evergeen, Gunter's (The dinosaur) wish.
Yeah, her steed is an eagle named The Morrow, or one time a swan. But Lady Rainicorn is her friend. She only rides her sometimes because she can fly and is horse shaped.
You can't entitle a video "secrets only a super fan notices" and then end it with a fan theory. That's not a secret, it's a theory. And not even a good one.
Dream theories like that are always disappointing, and they seem to be one of the most prevalent type of theory, unfortunately. It completely disregards any worldbuilding or character development and just says "none of that matters because it's just the wackiness of some 13-year old's fever dream".
Yeah, but the one greatest weakness of those kind of theories is the detailed-ness in episodes. Like, why would Finn dream about Marceline and Simon’s backstory? Why does Finn dream about Marceline and PB kissing and their relationship? And if it were a dream, why would he have Flame Princess move on when he hadn’t? Each character is far too complex and multidimensional for it to just be a dream.
How about you can't entitle a video "secrets only a superfan would notice" when nothing listed was a great "Easter egg?" This list was super lame and uninformative. The ONLY enjoyable thing was entertaining the idea that "Candied Island" was the Candy Kingdom.
Like every fantasy franchise has one "Just a coma/dream theory" why do you think its called fantasy because it doesn't exist in the real world stop trying to get explanations why everything must be in the real world
Episodes like, "Sad Face" and even the very last episode, "Come Along with Me" are told in a way where Finn is never present thus debunking the theory at the end of the video. As PB would put it, "Your theory got all donked up!"

Ward even said the show is very heavily influenced with dnd. The creatures, the items, magic missile, Fighting in dungeons, like damn the shows dynamic is completely around the world of dnd. Adventure Time is like one huge Homebrew Campaign lol.

This cartoon will always live in a special place in my heart. Thank you, Pendalton Ward, for making my childhood an enjoyable one. I still remember back then i would rush back home from school to see the new episodes. Those were the good times, with no worries.
Coma dream/dying dream fan theories are so lame, they're even lamer than when it actually happens in a show! It's such an unoriginal, childish way to end a story I'm actually annoyed it was even included on this list. It's not dark, it's not clever, and it's very, very rarely meaningful (although I admit it has been done well, occasionally, in the past).
It's good princess bubblegum found someone to love. Since most of the episodes, finn tries hard to win her heart but the age difference was a major problem, can't believe in one episode she sacrificed her kingdom to be with him and almost lost it to lemon grabs
The best song ever was during the montage in that episode in the first season when Marceline took over Finn and Jake's treehouse. Also, the Ice King is based off how Pendleton Ward sees himself. He mentioned this during an episode commentary.

Okay Okay Okay, I watched this entire show waiting for you to cover ONE THING, so I will do it. In the episode where bmo is explaining "what happened" during the elements miniseries, he mentions a blue Jay making noise. This noise is in fact Mordecai's (from regular show) iconic WOOOAAAAAHHH!!! implying that the blue Jay was mordecai. Same universe? Maybe. That gets me into thinking that Ooo is a remote island that was consumed by radiation making it so different and where regular show takes place is normal part of earth. Some characters in regular show are abnormal such as cj, Margaret, the park crew, etc. Maybe they originally came from Ooo? I think so.
That’s a good theory, but not just Ooo is all weird and stuff. The whole world is. There’s Ooo, the giant chunk missing from Earth, there’s the island thing that all the humans went to to survive, and other areas to. Also, BMOs storytelling isn’t the best, and what he said didn’t actually happen, (which you probably already know) but that doesn’t mean BMO hadn’t seen a giant blue jay making noises somewhere else, but maybe also he just completely made it up.

To be fair, most cartoons have a coma theory. It lacks any need for actual thought when you can answer everything with. "Coma." Which could very well be a viable answer, but at the same time, what scenario would that answer not work for?

I think that crown changed back so that's why that happened. In the end he looked like creator of the Ice Crown.

To be fair, most cartoons have a coma theory. It lacks any need for actual thought when you can answer everything with. "Coma." Which could very well be a viable answer, but at the same time, what scenario would that answer not work for?
