I remember this concert like it was yesterday. I recorded it on VHS and still have it, lol. I think in the years after it I must have re-watched it about 10 times. Extreme stole the show that day. Being true Queen Fans it was only fitting.
I have one!! It´s from 2010 concert in Rio. Axl throw the whistle in Paradise City and my friend that was with me got it. This year he moved to Australia and gave it to me to take care of it. :)

I saw guns and roses in 1991 at lake compounce in Bristol Connecticut it was an amazing show! I was a huge GNR fan back in high school!!! There are some amazing hair bands back in the day Bon Jovi, extreme, Europe, Poison, Def Leppard, Van Halen! I mean the list goes on and on! It was a really great era to live in!
The breakdown at the end was typically a longer instrumental show at live concerts. Tokyo 92 Paradise City has the full strobe light few minute breakdown! It’s all great. This tribute concert had a ton of artist performing so the fact that Guns were given 2 songs and made guest spots throughout the show goes to show how big they were at this time. Estranged is a song I’d check out next. It’s one of the great musical gems that doesn’t get on GNR’s top 5 list enough

Hey Nickado Express, I was 16 in '87 when Guns-n-Roses Appetite For Destruction came out, and YES it was Fun. We , My Brother and friends would either go to one of their houses after we got someone to buy the liquor of our choices. We Crashed a few Girls Sleepover Parties with an Army Duffel full of fifth bottles of Liquor. I drank a fifth of Jack Daniels then a pint of JD that No one knew had stuck inside My Snakeskin Cowboy Boots. We would be Jamming to G-n-R, Motley Crue, Skid Row, and Metallica, RATT and others Bands. I wonder sometimes how we made it hOME ALIVE

Used to see GNR regularly in Hollywood back in the mid 80s. Would never have imagined that they'd become so big. Probably the best band to come out of that Sunset Strip scene during the hair metal era. I caught them on tour around the same time that they appeared at the Freddie Mercury tour. My wife (you might know her) and I saw them more recently in 2018 at the Forum. Axl's voice is not as strong, but it was a good show.

Yes the Ritz 1988 show I would recommend this too. So raw and wild. If I remember right, Axl gets yanked off the stage during Paradise City and...well I won't spoil it! The audience was close in that venue 😆😉👍

Watched this show on the telly but I was at the guns show at Wembley stadium 8 weeks later and it’s still the greatest show I’ve ever seen

Saw Guns n Roses once with Metallica & Faith no More, and also once with Skid Row. They are amazing live. Once they finally get on stage.
