Lovely playing, and a great demo the Deco. Quite sure your video was 50% of my influence to get one! My Deco sits at the end of the pedal chain, with my ‘79 Mark I. Is that some wah at the beginning? Also, have you compressed the signal? This recording has a rich detail I haven’t heard from my Deco. What’s your signal chain here? Cheers.
Hi. Yup - there's a Crybaby Fazel wah happening. I can't remember but there might have been a bit of audio compression on the overall video, just to bring the level up. Signal chain is mk1->wah->deco->UAD Apollo interface->Neve Unison preamp
Wow!!! I always thought the Fender Rhodes sound was the sweetest to the ear. It seems this pedal can make it sound sweeter still! The sounds you got were amazing. One of them belongs on Pink Floyd Sheep. Now where do I buy a Rhodes? 🤪
This pedal does indeed bring most sound sources to life in all kinds of ways. My Rhodes was an absolute steal - someone had one in the attic and just wanted rid of it. I cried when I got it! Rhodes MK8 are being made by my friends here in the UK but they are seriously expensive. You can find original Rhodes MK1/2 on eBay/Reverb occasionally around £2000. Also check out Vintage Vibe pianos - they sound incredible. Thanks for checking out my video.
