I saw an interview done with Ann Francis some time back. She had begun in Hollywood and they asked her why she left Hollywood to pursue Television. She explained that she had reached a point in her career where they were wanting her to show nudity. She could not do that. She knew she wanted children and she could not bare the thought of any children she may have, seeing her in that way. I was impressed by that and, for me, that comment proved that she was, obviously, a person to whom reputation was important. She did a lot in television and she said she had made a good living in television. It allowed her to practice her talent, and keep her self-respect.

children come out of her vagina and suckle at her breast and Anne Frances is afraid they will see her nude. American society is perversely prudish. you do not need to wonder why we have all the sex crimes Europe and Scandanavia do not have.

I was once a Security Officer for a Germ Laboratory far more Secure than Site 3.
One night an Intruder Detector on the Inner Core of the Laboratory went into Alarm.
In accordance with the Security Protocol for this situation I had to enter the Laboratory, knowing that it was possible I might not Survive doing so.
Once in the Core I encountered an individual who was Fully Suited in a Germ Protection Suit and knew with Absolute Certainty that one of Us definitely should not be there.
Fortunately for Me it was a Test to ensure that Security would Do what was Required regardless of the Known Risks.

I disagree because of Ted Kennedy’s betrayal of America as it were.
When the U.S. Congress passed-and President Lyndon B. Johnson signed into law-the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965, the move was largely seen as symbolic, but changed the face of the American society forever!

It's very realistic in it's approaches to the issue, which is Amazing, and something that points out an arrogance of later generations that this era of film making were sumpar and fantastical, when in fact, the sophistication of many of these movies, when dealing with real subjects is far more erudite than now.

Incredible stone throw. Hits the moving car bull's eye on the windscreen. Helicopter scene. Hold the gun with right hand. Left hand hold the flask and the control stick at the same time. Amazing !

At 28.30 we see Lee Remick as the waitress. I think it strange she had that very small part, because by 1965 she had already starred in several great movies - A Face in the Crowd (1957), The Long Hot Summer (1958), Anatomy of A Murder (1959), Days of Wine and Roses (1962) - and had been nominated for 2 x Golden Globe Awards and an Academy Award.
George Maharis, who plays Barrett in this, died just 3 weeks ago, at 94 y.o.

@@davidbird380 Anne Francis was in Forbidden Planet.but was Barrett's girlfriend in this. Lee Remick was the (uncredited) waitress at 28.30 and had only around 30 seconds on screen. Google "Lee Remick" to get her Wiki biography then scroll down to find her film list.

Anne Francis...the drool factor alone will make this movie worthwhile. See you there.

Excellent movie, but the guard dog situation was very comical. He was trained not to bark and was wearing a muzzle. How was he going to stop intruders? I was going to ask if he would wag his tail in a menacing manner.....but he doesn't have a tail either. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Some of those other actors in the flick included Richard Basehart (Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea) and Simon Oakland (Baa Baa Black Sheep and Kolchak: The Night Stalker).

still say you should do incubus it is free on You tube so should not be expensive. pluses are three 1)great movie, a Janus Film 2) stars a 17 year old William Shatner, 3) cheap to rent and WIll be a crowd pleaser. I once played 13 ghosts for 8th graders first one not crappy newer one. at the end of the school year. When they saw it was black and white they rioted once it started they thought it was the best movie they ever saw and scary....another good one is that Dana Andrews movie by Jacques Tourner night of the Demon. but do not know about availability as it is genuinely good.
