Omg I don't even mind that it's such a long video. I would rather keep coming back to the same video than having to find all the different parts. I have also been rewatching every part that I've been working on. I think I've watched this video more than 20 times at this point just so I don't mess up. Thank you so much for this I absolutely love it.
I love your voiiiiiceeee!!!! Every time you give instruction and you say “ok?” as if we didn’t come here for you to tell us what to do🥺 you sound like such a sweet personnnn
If you already followed the other video it's fine! This is just a edited and more cut version for people who don't want to listen to me talk or don't want to have to skip through. The only thing i'll say is what you do to one panel make sure you do to the other. Otherwise your stitches will be uneven. Thanks for watching and taking an interest in my work
I'm a crochet beginner and this is gonna be one of my first pieces I am gonna make. This sweater was one of the reasons I wanted to learn how to crochet so I'm looking forward to making this!!! I love this in depth tutorial!! I'm still in the process of my first ever project, but this one will follow soon-ish enough!!
Hi!! I just finished your sweater and I LOVE IT! Your instructions were very clear so I didn't have any problems while making it. Thank you for the tutorial! I can't wait to see what you post next!
I'm currently following this pattern as someone who's been crocheting for 6 months, you explain things very well and you seem very sweet thank you for this video ❤
Thank you so much for the beautiful pattern and both in depth tutorials. I have both panels almost done and I plan to make the sleeves and assemble it tomorrow during a 12 hour shift at work. I did mine in a blues color pallet to match my bright blue hair. I cannot wait to finish and wear it! I really appreciate all your hard work and time teaching me this. Its already my favorite crochet clothing piece I've made. Best wishes in your business dear. You deserve it!🥰💙🙏
I have no time or patience for the craft, but think you are charming and have pretty hands which makes the video very comforting and pleasant to have on while I work on my dissertation. Thank you.
ik this was posted almost a year ago now but truly an amazing video tut!!!! u do such a great job explaining everything! I'm currently making my second one of these sweaters I love them so much and get so many compliments when I wear them ur doing a great job girl and ur beautiful
Excited to see the tutorial! I'll hopefully tackle this design soon! Im a beginner at crochet, so I appreciate you taking the time to show the stitches and design. Looking forward to more. The lobg skirt you made is what brought me to your channel, another design I'd like to see you break down some day. Love the channel and vibe, keep it up! ✌️✨
Thank you so much for this! It was easy to follow, and easy to jump back in after setting my project down for a while. Love how my sweater turned out!!!
Thank you sm for this tutorial! I’m really excited to try this. I love how in depth you are with the instructions, and I feel like this will be very easy to follow!!
omg, thank you sooooo muuuucchhhh for this pattern. this sweater has been on my bucket list since i started crocheting like 6 months ago, i really thought it was very difficult but the way you explain it its so easy to follow.
i messed up somewhere along the way and don't have the same amount of stitches on both panels, but i improvised and it's looking great!! tysm for this pattern! im working on the sleeves now :)
@kylalorefice1467 yes! try and decrease to try to get the same amount of stitches! but don't worry if they're not exactly the same amount, mine had like 10 stitches more but it's not visible when you wear it.
Thank you so much for this video I’ve been wanting to make an eye sweater but couldn’t find a video till the TH-cam gods put yours on my suggestions. I’ll probably watch this video so many times so I get the pattern right. Thank you so much.
if you do end up using the red heart yarn and you feel that the sweater in the end is really rough and hard add 4 pitchers of water in a really big bowl and 1 pitcher of regular vinegar let it soak for at least 30 minutes then put in cool water for 30 minutes and block it like normal. you should have the sweater softer after it dries.
Just bought your pattern! Going to spend the next few weeks on this as a gift for my partner for the holidays! Thanks so much for the video tutorial as well! Following along with the pattern will be a great way for me to learn how to use patterns (i've mostly been making coasters from youtube tutorials at this point) Thank you for putting pictures alongside the patterns for the steps as well, it's very nice! Excited to see more content in the future! ^-^
now the pattern and the video don’t match up perfectly (my fault lol) but they use just about the same stitches mostly around the same time. I’m so glad i could help you explore and learn more from crocheting i definitely think this tutorial does that. it uses math, over 5 stitches, and teaches you how to make things into a square tbh. Thank you for your support i can’t wait to see what you come up with !!
I had a 5.75 hook that came in a multi pack I got at Walmart and I got a really nice bamboo 11 mm from Amazon for around $8, if that helps anyone. I really love how my sweater turned out but I was confused by some parts of the first video. I also wanted my eye to be straight so I had to undo a couple rounds and make sure I had 80 stitches so it was easy to adjust the corners where I wanted them. It was worth it in the end, like I said, I absolutely love my sweater and I’m thinking of making another one.
When i was making mine I didn’t have a bigger hook, but increasing on every ch1 on the double crochet after the treble cluster thing made it lay flat aswell as doing a inc every ten on the row after
Amazing tutorial!! I’m working on the front right now, looks badass so far!💗 I just had a question about if we wanted a more circular sweater, how long exactly would you suggest to wait before squaring it? I’m not sure if waiting till the very, very last row before sewing is what you meant, or just last-ish, if that makes sense lmao
it’s all on what you prefer in my opinion and i’ve never made a circular one i just know how ? 😅 you’re gonna have to do the same trial and error just like i do with the square. but promise me you’ll show me after bc i’ve never seen a circular one!!!
@@pixzel2kyeah for sure! I just went to eye-balling it lmao, then just copied everything I did on the other side. I’m on the sleeves right now so once I get it all finished up I can 1000% send you what I got😊
Hi!!!! I'm in love with this sweater 😍😍😍 and the tutorial is soooo well made! I just wanted to know if possible how many grams did you use for each color? Thank you for this amazing tutorial ❤️
I cant wait to try this tutorial, however you said you need an 11mm crochet hook. I cannot find one ANYWHERE and i was wondering if it would be okay to use a 10mm or 12mm instead? If not let me know and ill keep looking :)
I do wish at the end of each row youd tell us how many stiches you have. I just ended up having to frog half of my sweater because the stiches are off by a lot. You had 81 stiches, and I somehow had 78
if you had 78 you could have just added 2 more to make it more divisible by 4. i make the pattern so if you don’t have the same exact amount you can adjust. i’m sorry though i’ll do better
So when you do the V stitch, you say that it should not be increasing I get that part. You also say that the stitches from the last row should be the same as the V stitch row, however I’m counting my previous row and it ends up being 87, then after I’m done with the V row it ends up being 96! So I guess my question is are the corner stitches increase places? Or am I just not getting it? 😭
@@B00GH0STIE I did try that LOL!! I’ve never commented on a YT video before so this was my last resort. I figured it’s true, after working on it for awhile today, since when you’re doing a granny square corner it’s the same, increasing every round! Plus I did double crochets in the place of the V stitch to see if it helped and it came out the same! (-:
Do you have any idea how to make the panel longer but not wider( because its already the widht of my shoulders but kinda cropped and i want it to hit hip lenght)? :( i guess i could just attach my yarn at the bottom corner and just repeat one side iber abd over but maybe tou have a better idea so it looks "cleaner" ( because if i do that the colors are gonna be changing only on one side)
I mention in the video to make the panel longer you can just add rows at the top and bottom only. same with making it wider adding rows to the left and right side. you will not need to do corner spaces for this you can just do 1 stitch in that corner space when starting.
I'm currently making this for my partner and I as matching sweaters! It's going well and I'm following the hook instructions and loosening my tension. But it's turning out way bigger than your panel and I'm even using a 10 mm for the row 9 or 10. Idk if it's because of the huge needle or my tension
Unfortunately i’d prefer no sweaters or variations of products from my pattern to be sold. Feel free to make as much as you want for personal use or family and friends. But as for selling on any platform it’s just a personal preference from me and the oc. Thank you again for respecting my work and taking the time to ask me before hand. But i guess since it’s a couple at a market it’s okay!

Hi, I have one question. What size of yarn did you use? I’m not sure which one will be good
It’s mentioned in the description and material stamp. I use weight 4 it comes out best in my opinion :)
I'm currently making this for my partner and I as matching sweaters! It's going well and I'm following the hook instructions and loosening my tension. But it's turning out way bigger than your panel and I'm even using a 10 mm for the row 9 or 10. Idk if it's because of the huge needle or my tension
it’s okay to be bigger i think lol after making the square you can stop at any row to fit you if that makes sense.
Whats the difference between the two videos?
this is cut other one is uncut. this also has more tips
this is a weird question, but how many rows did you do for the sleeves??
it’s in the video but like 22-24

Can you tell me all the yarn colors you used please😢 ?!?
hiii I wanted to thank you for the tutorial! i have a question, I used a 9mm hook for the first rows, is it alright if I keep using that for the next rows? because I thought the bigger hook was needed for the first part
idk i’ve never tried that it might just be a lot looser
@@pixzel2k at the end I redid It and now I'm doing the sleeves! Having the right amount of steeches each row was a mess but definetly worth it
Why do you slip stitch not into the chain you did at the beginning of the round? This tutorial is very confusing my stitches are so off 😭😭😭
ch does not count as a stitch. i recommend buying the written pattern this tutorial has become more of a guide
thanks for the pattern its turning out soo prettyyyy :))) i have a question tho, im making the arms rn and what should i do in order to have more boxy arms? i want them to look like they are ribbed at the bottom, i couldn't figure out where to put the decreases
if you don’t want flare then i suggest just adding no increases. Idk about boxy but they will be straight
