I think when Jimmy answered the phone at the end, it was just to show that when he's at work, he's always putting on an act. Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad was one big act and we didn't really see him when he wasn't working.
Actually, I beg to differ. Saul Goodman is Slippin’ Jimmy, and Slippin’ Jimmy is James’ true persona. James McGill, the goody-two-shoes lawyer with all his morals and doing the right thing, isn’t him. Slippin’ Jimmy, the scamming, two-faced, slippery snake criminal is who he is. Saul Goodman is who he REALLY is.
That’s so crazy I was watching a different channel react to this episode where Jesse doesn’t want to kill Badger and then Saul say this quote but the TH-camr spoke over the first part so all I heard is “gets expensive doesn’t it?” And I was like dammit I couldn’t hear what he said is expensive ... and I was too lazy to look it up on Netflix .. but you posted it right here on this channels video

Jesus, Imagine being in Walt’s headspace all the time. Makes you think less of other people, as inferior to you on every level, resentful of people with better things than you. Vince is such a humble, empathetic and shy kinda guy so that would be an awful headspace to be in for him.
So, I am playing RDR2 on Sunday night and see that Cocobolo, which I have never heard of, is a wood option for customizable weapons. I take a break to watch BCS S1E7 to prepare for the N&S reaction and see that Jimmy wants to buy a Cocobolo desk. This makes my brain hurt.
As you can see, at this point in time Jimmy still was wanting to do the right thing even after a screw up. This show is so good at balancing the drama aspect and the comedy side as well. 🏢🍎🤔

Betsy K knows dang well there's money, but she is so convinced that she is entitled to it that her belief makes her say anything with total conviction. The Kettlemans are typical of a certain type of upper middle class people who, instead of being happy and grateful with what they have, obsess over all the people who have more than them and are bitter about it ("The grass is always greener..."). And that entitlement helps to make them delusional about their actions - that everything they do is right, that their actions are smart as opposed to foolish, that they'll never get caught, etc. And I suppose thats how most criminals think. Come to think of it, that sounds a lot like Walter White 😏 🏢🍎🤔
One thing i'd like to point out in the previous Episode is when Mike shot the two cops he shot them out of view from their dash cam and he used a revolver so no shells, no footage, no evidence. Pretty dope detail..👌🏼

I think that BCS has told it's story in such an organic way that you can follow the characters and really care for them without knowing anything about their later versions in BrBa. My only worry if I was you would be that Nikki and Steven might inadvertently spoil big things from BrBa for you as these reactions go along. I always think it's cool when someone's a fan of BCS without having seen BrBa, but I dunno, might be time to take the plunge to be on the safe side.
