Ty Allie. I am pretty new to POE 2 and i played 3 chars until this build. I tried a minion witch, a war crier with totem and a titan with stampede and hand of god. Played them all until maps. However this build is the most fun build i have played and enjoyed. Thank you for investing the time for us and making our lives easier. You got a new subscriber. ❤
Your guide is absolutely amazing. Very detailed. All my questions in my head I had was answered. I played the game on a warrior. It was rough and boring. I used many warrior builds and didnt find any of them fun. So... a few days ago I gathered all my exalts up and bought pillar of the cage god and used your guide. Its been absolutely fun.
I'm saving for my HoA, been playing the budget build and having a blast. I'm so glad the pillar unique has a good use in PoE2. I wanted to make a build using it but have been using your and it's crazy good. I was using level 40 gear and non-capped resistances up to tier 10 way stones. Had to play smart but the damage was great. Insanely fun build.
@@Alliee Well if it does not get nerfed GGG is on problem, they've nerfed witch builds that weren't that strong. As they said: "Since launch we’ve unfortunately had to nerf a few skills that were far too overpowered. How do we define overpowered? Basically it's a situation in which a certain skill is so powerful that players feel no other method of playing the game is viable."
How are you dealing with chaos res? Hard to fit it in with all the attributes. Also what jewels are we running since we have so many open socket slots?
Well, we simply ignore chaos res until we go Ci sadly. You can get a 20% or so roll on your belt and that alone will pretty drastically reduce chaos damage. I personally havent noticed it at all post chaos damage nerfs and running around at 0 has felt fine to me even when I was talking heavy chaos dmg from something like the poison snakes in augury. As you mentioned, its very difficult to fit any in with the attribute rolls. If you somehow are good on res without some of your rune sockets, you can always use chaos res soul cores too. As for jewels, there is a link for them in the description but they are the same as they were before, you want ~2-4% life on kill and at least 1-2% mana on kill. From there, + attribute corruptions are great or any generic stats. In the later versions of this build there will be a lot of unique jewels we want to run which im hoping to start discussing soon, its just that every one of them is worth as much as HoWA if not more.
Just got to tier 8 maps still have yet to see a divine and I’m still sitting at 5 exalts currency drop rate is killing me. Also what do you recommend slotting into the helmet as a resistance rune when I only need 2 percent feels useless I’m currently leaning towards a chaos resist soul core since my chaos is still at the 10 percent from the vial quest .
Am I missing something in the build? How do the build generate Frenzy Charge, because of Resonance, to use Charged Staff? Loving the build but I cant seem to activate Charged Staff skill.
This will be talked about in todays update in 1-2 hours. Im sorry I wasnt able to fit it into yesterdays video but the moba link is updated with the info on it now
yoyo Allie, I love your content, I was playing your gas arrow in HC and I'm still farming lv 91. Thinking on new build and this looks fun! How tanky is this for HC?? and how is bossing??
This will feel a bit paper pre HoWA as it only has ~3-4k life and a bit of evasion and es as its defensive layers. I've moved on to grim feast now and it feels a lot better and I'd probably recommend that in HC as well. Once you get HoWA, you can get Lucidity + anoint Mental Perseverance for 30% MoM which we will have 2k+ mana for with 0 mana costs due to some tech ill be discussing in today's video. Given how big our mana pool is, we will never hit 0 mana meaning its just 30% dr. At higher budget levels, we will go full MoM with 4k+ Mana and 5-8k ES. Currently, I have 3.1k HP and 850 ES + Grim Feast overflow + 30% MoM and it feels comfy. Once you get 4th lab done, getting to 90% all res isn’t too difficult between thaum infusion and a bunch of +2 max res jewels. Basically, post HoWA, it starts to get pretty tanky and the endgame is what I'd consider very tanky. Idk how feasible all of it is in HC though given the rarity of uniques there and i'm not sure id recommend playing this without HoWA in my opinion. As for bosses... wellll, we had poor st damage but with today's update video, we have amazing st damage. It has a few second ramp but, we can stun and freeze bosses very easily and we can even get an electrocute off after a while. When you combine it with the defensive layers above, I'd say its really comfy for SC standards.
That will be discussed in todays video in ~1-2 hours or so! I sadly didnt have time to fit it into yesterdays video but, the mobalytics guide has been updated with it.
Its not really worth including in my opinion. We were discussing a possible HoT setup on stream last night that we realized requires a few hundred div to make viable and even then would feel awful vs HoI. Black Sun is just a dps increase and nothing else which feels pointless vs the +20 res three dragons gives which will be extremely important as we sac more suffixes for attributes. Resistances become a big problem in this build in the lategame and honestly, we will do so much DPS that black sun just becomes a pointless upgrade. You lose HoI and you lose freezing everything which feels a lot more comfy. We have and will have enough dps to 1 shot everything and id rather kill a boss 1-2 seconds slower while its frozen the whole time vs it having a chance to attack back. There is a world where we go black sun super late game but for now, I feel like three dragons will be better in the midgame. As for Ice + Thunder we dont have the Spirit for it. We are now including in Combat Focus for Charged Staff and I would prefer to use Grim Feast for the defences. I feel like the clear is just fine with ~400 Int and storm wave and there just isint enough density even in breaches to warrent it. Maybe once we swap to tempest flurry id consider it as that would need help compared to Storm Wave but for now id rather incude a defensive aura instead.
EoW was used in the pre-HoWA setup for single target damage due to its ability to proc Tempest Bell quickly. In the HoWA setup we have moved on to charged staff which will have its own dedicated video today
This will be discussed in today's update video in ~1-2 hours from this comment. Sadly Charged Staff didnt make it into yesterdays update video and will get its own today, thats my bad.

With a few div budget post HoWA, it will pretty much delete them in a few seconds. With the charged staff tech today, our single target damage has balloned with it only getting better with a higher budget. This build gets tanky and strong very quickly and id day youd pretty comfortably be able to do all of them on a HoWA + 5 div budget. If you wanted to do max difficulty, I cant really speak for it as I havent bothered myself but, id imagine with a 30-40 div setup you would also start killing max difficulty in a few seconds.
Honestly, you can put them on as soon as you are level 52 and just do 2-3x more dps. Id maybe stick with the leveling tree until ~70 or so and instead of picking up so many +5 str nodes to instead pick up about half of them as +int. Once you are at ~70 you should be able to swap to the howa tree and just follow along from there with the normal attribute recommendations
If you hold alt on any node on the tree you can see what emotions are required for that anoint. Not all nodes have anoints for some odd reason though. For mental, you need Ire, Disgust & Greed
Im not sure what you mean by relic altar unfort. If you mean the venoms, I took stun and +5 attributes. If thats not what you mean, if you could clarify Id be more than happy to help
Added Lightning while leveling and then attack speed or ele pen once you go HoWA. In the super late game, we will most likely run attack speed soul cores.
I was pre HoWA at like 600 str 300 dex and 50 int and felt like a god. Bought a decent pair right now and now I know how God must feel if he had a midlife crisis. HoWA is an absolute banger that I couldn't grasp. ALso experimenting with a magic find helmet with int for farming t15's. I think herald of ice is super strong, but i can slot in electrocute into storm wave. Monsters die anyway and rares get electrocuted instead of frozen. Astramentis is so near with that upgrade and speed lol.
Oh thats my bad, I forgot to add the Jewel link in the description. For now you just want to use the exact same jewels as we did in the pre-HoWA setup as % on kill and generic stats such as pen or AS are our best option. There are a lot of unique jewels that are... very expensive we would like to include into the build that im going to talk about in a future update.
Pre HoWA its not very good due to mana problems. Post HoWA on a budget you can kill map bosses in ~15 seconds or so and it only gets faster from there. We have some tech that will come out in an build update that will go over it.
i just hit 45 hoping the helmet would give me a nice power spike with herald of ice, but ive been having mana problems for like 15 levels now, am i doing anything wrong? maybe i need to target mana recovery on my items?
My experience the build struggles till the mid 50s or so with mana I just ran grenadier till I had enough passive points to hit the skills use 15 percent life mode and that solved all mana issues. I don’t have a howa yet and I’m only 75 but I never see my mana go below 2/3 full even when fighting mana drain rares.
I personally didnt have many issues outside of bosses but, if its feeling bad, you can always grab a 1% or 2% mana on kill jewel earlier and that should take care of most of the problems as we will want to run one in the endgame anyways
200 hours in. 2 divines have dropped. That's including both story mode and endgame to T12... I am ironically stuck because I need an upgrade, and the one I need I can't even seem to farm for. So in mindlessly farming the 140 or so exhalteds to trade I for a divine .. but by the time I get there it's probably inflated put of my reach... Great endgame... It's just like.. game over
Almost lvl 93, got 2 divs droped 😂 getting currency is kinda tricky, you need to list items on market, with some price check app(thats how i got most of my money)
If you have HoWA yeah you can just slap on HoWA as soon as you can and basically win the game. If you dont, id recommend following the previous videos on the basic pre howa setup from a few days ago.
Obviosuly no crystal ball, but is it likely to get nerfed to the ground? I have your gas arrow deadeye lvl 90 and spark sorc lvl90. I feel like i need a dedicated bossing character and stat stacking seems like a good option.
I highly doubt it although everyone seems extremly hysterical trying to say it will be nerfed because "oh no build that requires INVESTMENT looks good at a high budget, nerf it netf it nerf it." I can guarantee you tempest bell will be adjusted but, even if its nerfed by 50% we still include it no matter what. Bell is being abused by alls taff builds to do some silly st damage. With that said, and esp with todays update, our st damage has balloned and will keep growing to where we wount really care about bell damage as much with higher investment.

My jewels in my tree are random jewels that I picked up to socket in so people would stop asking why I have empty jewel sockets. Lastly, I have a res morior which is 2 Div that I decided to buy pre HoWA because I was still using a chest I picked up off the floor in Act 2 and my chat was begging me to replace it in T15 maps. In total my build is currently HoWA + 4.5 div which is basically nothing. Even just putting on HoWA basically gives you 70-80% of the damage im doing in this video by just changing your passive tree over.
