You say that but the nice poe players are currently buying your trade link and reposting for higher. All the time. That is what the community is actively pushing. Because its much better divines per hour than trying to farm them. This means that once you post the build, we get half your build for twice the price in general, but get to see your juiced variant and then proceed to be dissapointed. This is inevitable when looking at people who are paid to play and have three times the time. Something people need to get used to.

It's pretty much complete as there isint anything else to really say about it outside of just: get the items you already have but with better rolls. It starts to fall off a bit in the highest of pinnacle content but for 95% of the things you will do its a very solid build. Its a great build to do all content on and then possibly re-roll with the money into something else or to try and go evasion es with ci and ghost dance as a super lategame setup. Idk exactly what that would look like but, a lot of deadeyes are doing it and are having a great time.
The supports are all in the written guide, its just a bit simpler to guide people to there where its static than to talk about them in the video especially when it can change
I feel like its more of a personal preference than anything else. I personally hate ice strike but I know a lot of people are having a great time with ice strike + shattering palm too. I like Storm Wave for clearing a lot more since its a 1 button playstyle and it feels a bit better on gemling as we dont have the chilled ground to make the shatter ring feel good.
Thank you for all of your great content and guides, but today you jumped the shark by equipping a 10 Div Unique HOWA, without ever earning those Divs without it! This is what we who don't have 10 divs will have to do! You chose to use your huge largess from prior builds to jumpstart yourself making lots of Divs again. In doing this you are proving those who said that you'll need a fortune to play this build as being more accurate than not! Being as fragile as it is, even with the very best upgraded gear (I spent about 65 EXs) this build hits a wall around Waystone 10/11 for all but expert players, and the one shots from there impede any further progression, and a depletion of what good maps that they might already have. So, I'd say to everyone to stop at that point, to and earn your Divs on another build so you can buy a HOWA, and then in the future continue playing this awesome build!
Preach, Allie does decent guides honestly, but I absolutely hate the fact that with the coming of poe2 (not just Allie, nearly all builders) DO NOT address the survivability of their builds. To anyone else reading this, THIS BUILD WILL DIE TO WIND (I am res capped, yes even chaos and 6.7k life). Regen in this build does nothing if you die in 1 or 2 hits. EVEN AT MAX GEAR YOU WILL STILL BE SQUISHY, EVERYTHING JUST DIES BEFORE YOU GET TOUCHED, SO BE WARNED IF YOU WANT TO TRY THIS BUILD.
@@tristan2038 I 100% agree and I followed Allie by playing through the night last night until 6AM, to catch up. I spent my 60-70 Exs to buy (4 Hours on POE trade) incredible gear last night., fully max ressed, and 19k DPS, with a 1300 Evasion chest with 250 HP. I soon found out that was a waste without having a HOWA already to help me progress past T11...I play well but there was NO WAY Allie! This build at that point is simply like a piece of tissue paper glass canon. BTW POE Devs I have every quantity and chance for Waystones to be a tier higher with 60 MF and I get absolutely nothing now but a far lower map?
I already made ~2.5 divs in just raw currency plus 2 raw divs on this character before I swapped meaning I made 66% of the cost of the gloves in 2 days of playing it. It is 6 div now and not 10 anymore. Plenty of people who were playing along also got their howa already from self farming it along with me. I chose to skip spending 1/2 of yesterday farming the last 2 div so I could start figuring out howa for the people who are swapped and are waiting on me to catch up. I got to t15 maps and even did some t16/17 with no howa on the currency from a SINGLE greater jewellers orb. If I can make it on a budget of basically 30 ex, anyone else can as well givn my progression was significantly faster than the average player who will take a lot longer to get form t1-15 thus make more raw currency than I did. "In doing this you are proving those who said that you'll need a fortune to play this build as being more accurate than not!" is literally just false and im sorry if choosing to not waste half a day is magically not proving the point to you anymore. Im not sure how you are stuck in t10 maps as I was doing t15s very comfortably on this. If you are dying to on death effects and are blaming the build on that, welcome to poe2, literally every build in the game is currently getting 1 shot by those. If you are dying because you are constantly doing 25% ele pen maps (which basically mean you take 100% more damage, thats not the builds fault. If you could provide me some more info on exactly why you are struggling id be happy to help, but blanket statements are completly useless to solving anything.
"but I absolutely hate the fact that with the coming of poe2 (not just Allie, nearly all builders) DO NOT address the survivability of their builds" welcome to poe2. No build has any defensive layers outside of 1/2 at best. This isint poe 1 where you can go es/armor/suppress/90% res on every build. Deadeyes have evasion and acro then later es and evasion. Top builds have mom, bottom builds have block (armour is literally useless). Our build has life and a bit of evasion because we cant go block or armour. Its more than enough to get you to t15s and once you swap to howa you go mom, es, evasion, and have a 10k total hp pool + some max res and thats it.... because thats how the game is currently balanced. "To anyone else reading this, THIS BUILD WILL DIE TO WIND (I am res capped, yes even chaos and 6.7k life)." im sorry but you are simply doing something wrong. 7k hp is an ungodly amount of hp that should literally make you unkillable to everything execpt on-death effects. If you are complaining about on-deaths, join the club because 100% of the playerbase is too, you cannot live them right now. Unless you are doing non-stop 25% ele pen -12 max res maps (which would mean you take ~130% more damage) with 100% deli you really shouldnt be dying, esp with chaos res cap as even chaos damage cant be an excuse. "EVEN AT MAX GEAR YOU WILL STILL BE SQUISHY, EVERYTHING JUST DIES BEFORE YOU GET TOUCHED, SO BE WARNED IF YOU WANT TO TRY THIS BUILD." is just wrong. We will be near 90% all res with a 10k total hp pool and ~60% evasion. Its really hard to die like that even if you facetank bosses.
Its most likely being caused by Better PoE Trade which is a chrome app you can get on the store. Ive had it for so long that I didnt even know that wasnt a base trade website feature
Id recommend Conservative Casting as everyhting else is too expensive to bother with before HoWA sadly. Once we go HoWA, we would want to use Mental Perserverance which I plan to cover in the HoWA video tomorrow
4 +5% res soul cores. Nothing else is very good and you just end up gimping yourself if you run something like rarity for example until an ultra lategame setup where you can figure out the res in another way.
It is without the gloves. I put the gloves on today and played with them on stream and id recommend watching the last 2-3 hours of my stream to see how its going with the gloves, granted I am still on an extremelly small budget.
They do yes, as ive mentioned, this is underselling the build greatly pre gloves but, it is by no means unplayable as so many people claim it is. The goal was to make this budget friendly and approachable instead of saying the same dumb things that everyone is parroting that you need x 10s of divs for this to even work.
My plan is to put HoWA on soon and to start talking about in a day or 2. Im just wrapping up everything with the budget version first and confirming everythings all good
Invoker is better at a lower budget and for leveling/early game but even then the difference is pretty tiny. Once you swap to HoWA and start stacking Int, Gemling will pull ahead due to the massive mana pool it can get. Gemling is also in a slightly better position on the passive tree being able to pick up Polymathy as an Invoker would have to either path there lategame given they otherwise need to anoint Lightning Rod. Gemling with MoM at a 15 Div budget or so will start feeling just as tanky and will keep getting tankier with Thaum Infusion as phys damage isint as scary as Fire Damage currently is esp with all of the on-death effects. When you combine that with its ability to have overall more attributes due to its position on the tree, gemling is the "best" ascendancy for this build in my opinion. There are lots of good ones, you can even play this on a Deadeye and im considering a re-roll to infernalist if I have nothing to do in a few weeks and my point is that Invoker is still very solid for this build, just a bit worse than gemling is all.
Its just poe 1 terminlogy, in poe 1 we call a skill with 5 support gems a 6 link due to how it was socketed into gear. I do see how this might be confusing to new players as a 6 link in poe 2 is technically a 5 link but everyone calls it a 6. Its just a skill with 5 supports on it
Thank you Allie! Love the build (as most of your builds)! Having a blast leveling it and for me, older player without much free time, rade links are so great :)
Love your builds! Had so much fun on the gas arrow. It was definitely my most favorite. Compare to that build, is this as fun? A lot better in end game? What's pros con in your opinion? Asking because now I want to make this build since your last build was so good 👍
Sorry for the late response, I like this build a lot more because I enjoy the theory behind how builds work and I love how much depth there is to this. Gas Arrow was amazing due to its simplicity but this to me is better due to how much you can optimize it. This build needs HoWA to really shine which is 6-7 div but its completly playable without it to a point where you can farm the 6-7 div with the build. I do recommend to get HoWA before swapping to this build if you do have another build first. Post HoWA it just becomes dumb very quickly with its clear speed. Its single target damage is a bit lacking to begin with due to the massive mana problems every build has on bosses but, with maybe 10-15 div worth of investment post HoWA, the issues go away and you end up killing bosses in seconds. The endgame of this build is crazy with basically almost infinite scaling potential meaning you can put more and more money into it. Gas Arrow kinda hits a plateu while this one doesnt. Overall, I love the gameplay of it, its as simple as Gas Arrow and this build with more budget becomes the 2nd fastest clear build in the game which im looking forward to.
@@Alliee Thanks for the detailed response! I did make a new character and been following the leveling guide to it, also very fun! Saw the updated today and look forward to the guide with HoWA. since it seems like the passive tree is redone? BTW as people have said, BEST guide video and in detailed too, but just love how much FUN your builds are! Keep up the good content! Thanks
Going to paste this response here as a similar question was asked earlier: Invoker is better at a lower budget and for leveling/early game but even then the difference is pretty tiny. @@Alliee I think it is. You can get to 300k dps for around 4 div in stuff and also take use of additional power charges and crit bonuses that they give with passives. Invoker can 1-2 hit rare bosses on tier XV, because crit chance goes up to 50% and crit bonus up to 600% and additionaly crit ignore all resistances. Also invoker provide additional 80-90 spirit from assendancy perk, which you can utilize for grim feast to get extra energy shield that continously recharge from kills., wind dancer for evasion etc. Herald perk gives additional 50% dmg for elemental when active, You basically wasting like 50 perk points for passive attributes to gain dmg in weapon, when weapon alone twice as good cost 2 div. In result you have mediocre monk.
The gloves were never mentioned in this video and that wasnt the point of this video. This video literally only talks about pre-HoWA gear and how its dirt cheap.
Trying to do this build, even a giga budget version in SSF is painful They really should have had the crafting bench at the start of EA Getting added damage on rings and gloves is nearly impossible by currency crafting
If you feel like your damage is a bit low, you probably need more added lightning damage on your staff with runes/gloves/rings. Added Light really carries this build along with a bit of Strength before HoWA
tried the build with 1div+120ex and it failed, i was explosive shot merc and im currently at tier9 7/8 and bored of crossbow. so im 512 str 321 dex 115 int and followed all guide, bought a chestpiece for 1div cuz it was cpreupted and 4 chaos ressed so it was trash, capped all my res with the trade links my fire res is 75%(77) cold 73% lightning 75%(103) yeah i know ive seen the lightning res after slamming the chestpiece gloves and rings, my ascendancy at 2nd awaken(i tried it with my trioe friends and it was undoable so didnt cared much to do my awakens), my gems are 3 link all no quality storm wave is 6k tempest fury is 10k dmg but at t10 i can do nothing my char doesnt dies im a solid tank but no damage(tested both at trio and solo). dont go for this build unless you have 20 div or something.
That honestly makes no sense. Damage is the least of your concerns with this build especially when you have 512 str. I got to t15 maps with 350 with no issues at all. Outside of you having no added damage runes on your staff or any added damage at all in your build I cannot see how you arent 1 shotting everything you come across. The only thing that should be an even slight challenge would be map bosses. I really don't know what could possibly be going wrong.
nope , it s a you problem not the buld i m running this build on a 1div setup and i m destroying monsters in t11 and i m not even resist cap and i never die lmao
I dont want to get into the whole argument of "its x and ys build" because its pointless. Its also EA where everyone is playing and trying out many builds and no one person "owns" a build. This is the Allie setup of an attribute stacker that I came up with on my stream. Waggle has his own, Mathil has his own, and there were people playing this since day 2-3 before any cc picked it up as well. They all have their own variations and you just simply pick which ever cc's setup/explination is your favorite.
@@Allieemature to not want to confront where inspiration and basis for a build was found. A lot of people might find it pretty tacky to not give at least some credit to where the obvious ideas were founded. You're right, Mathil did make HIS OWN stat stacker, nowhere near similar to a Gemling utilizing Storm wave, and esp Tempest Fury as a movement skill. Waggle started playing on day 5, and likely no one really before that as some of the most key pieces needed to get the build "truly" online didn't even exist before that. To make believe you just happened to come up with such similarities on your own is absurd, given the popularity of a build published 12 days ago. It's hilarious how many content "creators" are just so against the idea of giving some sort of credit for the basis of an idea. How hard is it to say, "I saw this cool thing, not sure where it really came from or who started it, but I really liked it, and I'm gonna make my own spin on it.." Instead, everyone wants to say "It was me that discovered this new tech/build" But,.. What would you expect from the OG Apothyoinker. Don't worry, I'm out, not really interested in a justification reply with made up facts.
Followed the levling in the description, ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE LEVELING GUIDE, find anything else to level the character unless you love feeling like you are hitting mobs with tissue paper from levels 20-45
As long as you have 2 added damage runes on your pillar and the leveling uniques that shouldnt be the case at all while leveling with storm wave. Storm Wave was substantually faster than ice strike by a large margin as soon as you get it assuming you have upheval.
No... its not? Stop trying to spread misinformation. A high end setup is expensive... because its a high end setup. Im doing t16 boss rushing just fine enough on a howa + 2 div setup. You dont need the 50 div setup to do t15 maps or to even progress the build to the point where you can get howa and scale from there.

Its a great build to do all content on and then possibly re-roll with the money into something else or to try and go evasion es with ci and ghost dance as a super lategame setup. Idk exactly what that would look like but, a lot of deadeyes are doing it and are having a great time.
@@Alliee I'll look into options that look fun. Thank you for the great builds you've given us.
did you show gems and support gems cant seem to find it in the video
Anyway which support gem is it that splits storm wave in three?
it's upheaval
The supports are all in the written guide, its just a bit simpler to guide people to there where its static than to talk about them in the video especially when it can change
What's that skill on your E Slot?
Also what support gems needed?
That is Invocation which we have since dropped and are now manually using Eye of Winter which is discussed in the written guides.
Is this better than the ice strike build with howa? I just 6 linked my ice strike as well
I feel like its more of a personal preference than anything else. I personally hate ice strike but I know a lot of people are having a great time with ice strike + shattering palm too. I like Storm Wave for clearing a lot more since its a 1 button playstyle and it feels a bit better on gemling as we dont have the chilled ground to make the shatter ring feel good.
@@Alliee alright thank you
Was just starting to build this and was at a loss great video
Are you doing ailment threshold or mana recovery from venom crypts?
I picked ailment threshold but then realized that the stun one was better sadly. For the 2nd one I took +5 attributes
keep it coming im lvling up this now
Thank you for all of your great content and guides, but today you jumped the shark by equipping a 10 Div Unique HOWA, without ever earning those Divs without it!
Its really hard to die like that even if you facetank bosses.
wich plugin did you use for trade and get line in orange and the sum?
Its most likely being caused by Better PoE Trade which is a chrome app you can get on the store. Ive had it for so long that I didnt even know that wasnt a base trade website feature
what is the best passive node to annoint?
Id recommend Conservative Casting as everyhting else is too expensive to bother with before HoWA sadly. Once we go HoWA, we would want to use Mental Perserverance which I plan to cover in the HoWA video tomorrow
@Alliee perfect, thank you :D
what's the best runes for Morior Invictus i wonder
4 +5% res soul cores. Nothing else is very good and you just end up gimping yourself if you run something like rarity for example until an ultra lategame setup where you can figure out the res in another way.
the gameplay shown in the background is with that gloves?
It is without the gloves. I put the gloves on today and played with them on stream and id recommend watching the last 2-3 hours of my stream to see how its going with the gloves, granted I am still on an extremelly small budget.
what annoint on ammulet are we looking for
The only good one is Conservative casting pre HoWA as everythign else is.... way too expensive. Once we swap to HoWA we will want Mentar Perserverance
Great guide, I feel like the gloves really bring this build online though
They do yes, as ive mentioned, this is underselling the build greatly pre gloves but, it is by no means unplayable as so many people claim it is. The goal was to make this budget friendly and approachable instead of saying the same dumb things that everyone is parroting that you need x 10s of divs for this to even work.
Nice guide allie. What’s the annouments for Amulett? What is cheap middle and good?
The only good one is Conservative casting pre HoWA as everythign else is.... way too expensive. Once we swap to HoWA we will want Mentar Perserverance
@ thx. I hafe HoWA.
Would love to see a HOA build, need to start my budget build now! Lol
My plan is to put HoWA on soon and to start talking about in a day or 2. Im just wrapping up everything with the budget version first and confirming everythings all good
why is gemling better than invoker? doesnt invoker have better tankyness?
There are lots of good ones, you can even play this on a Deadeye and im considering a re-roll to infernalist if I have nothing to do in a few weeks and my point is that Invoker is still very solid for this build, just a bit worse than gemling is all.
why are ppl calling 6 link gems when they have 5 sockets ? am i missing something ?
Its just poe 1 terminlogy, in poe 1 we call a skill with 5 support gems a 6 link due to how it was socketed into gear. I do see how this might be confusing to new players as a 6 link in poe 2 is technically a 5 link but everyone calls it a 6. Its just a skill with 5 supports on it
@@Alliee Hehe I see, thanks for replying!
Leveling with this build was amazing! Early endgame aswell. Suprised it's so strong on a low budget, and i pray GGG let's us keep running it.
i am sure the staff will go to hell :D
Thanks
Where is rhe difference between monk and this build?
monk is straight up better.
This isint true at all.
Going to paste this response here as a similar question was asked earlier:

@@maximusowo in your dreams
7 div for the gloves is not cheap
The gloves were never mentioned in this video and that wasnt the point of this video. This video literally only talks about pre-HoWA gear and how its dirt cheap.
am i the only one who freeze more without the unique helmet ?? haha
NOTED
Did you speed this video up by 15-20% :)? I turned it down to 80-85% playback speed and i can hear words better lol
No thats just the speed i normally talk at.
why that demon talk so fast
I can’t see them not nerfing the scaling on this staff if it can last you into mapping
Trying to do this build, even a giga budget version in SSF is painful
They really should have had the crafting bench at the start of EA
Getting added damage on rings and gloves is nearly impossible by currency crafting
Low dmg early game?
If you feel like your damage is a bit low, you probably need more added lightning damage on your staff with runes/gloves/rings. Added Light really carries this build along with a bit of Strength before HoWA
I 3 shotted every boss up to act 3 with this build lol
@trinki8345 ??? You can play for all?
tried the build with 1div+120ex and it failed, i was explosive shot merc and im currently at tier9 7/8 and bored of crossbow. so im 512 str 321 dex 115 int and followed all guide, bought a chestpiece for 1div cuz it was cpreupted and 4 chaos ressed so it was trash, capped all my res with the trade links my fire res is 75%(77) cold 73% lightning 75%(103) yeah i know ive seen the lightning res after slamming the chestpiece gloves and rings, my ascendancy at 2nd awaken(i tried it with my trioe friends and it was undoable so didnt cared much to do my awakens), my gems are 3 link all no quality storm wave is 6k tempest fury is 10k dmg but at t10 i can do nothing my char doesnt dies im a solid tank but no damage(tested both at trio and solo). dont go for this build unless you have 20 div or something.
howa and mana sustain needed while you need to cap all attiributes same count, 500str 300dex deals 0dmg
So,.. Bascally Waggle's build he's been running for over two weeks,... lmao
Such a BAMF providing trade links
Your builds are amazing. Thanks for thinking of us, casuals!
to scale this to lategame the starting cost is like 20div... dirt cheap
Start running ultimatum, you get a bunch of currency there from the rewards and you dont need to abide to the magic find hell
@@_Khalmyr_ lol dw about me im pretty juiced up
When divines drop like shit, even with 165 magic find, it just isn't entertaining.
Every single one of these powerful builds only require you to RMT a thousand dollars to get the needed items.
This is literally as cheap as you can possibly make a build. You cant seriously be making this comment on a video showcasing 5-10 ex items.
Lmao, so nowdays 60 exalted is a thousand dollar , maybe i should sell my account
attribute stacking is extremely expensive wtf is this bait video
No...
