Bas I have so much respect for you! Thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom. I love watching you while you fought in Japan. I have listened to your advice. I am cleaning up and making positive changes in my life. I too am in recovery. If I ever get the chance to meet you. I promise you that I will wait until you are ready. Thank you for being the genuine champion and a humble man. The world needs more men like you Bas!

Steve, great to hear you are cleaning up, good for you. I assume you love guitars? Throw yourself into that you are going to be fine. And always know that the more you say no to whatever it is, the stronger you get and the easier it becomes.

I'm hard on myself, not on others. You want to beat it, it's wil power, once I realized that and didn't want to call myself "weak" that's when it worked. At least you are training, watch out after a big night of drinking and training, you dehydrated and might pull a muscle sooner, so lots of fluids.
      Godspeed

@@OfficialBasRutten Okay . Thanks very much. I need to keep my mind alert as usual . Else , I will be in trouble.

I don't think , I want to be an alcoholic. I forgot what it was like.

@@eastwood111 Alcohol Addiction ? What alcohol addiction . No, I just thought I would experiment with alcohol to see, if it raised my energy levels.
Nope, I made a mistake again , and I made another mistake also, by going swimming when the weather was cold.
Yes, actually, I have been sober so long, that I forgot that drinking alcohol seems to have a bad effect on my life. But sometimes. Not drinking alcohol might have an even more serious negative effect.
