I take it this is your first time using an X-Terra because those are the normal numbers these items shout range in when you have a full scale from 0-100 on any detector. The old Nox series was always odd because the numbers are so far off the norm because of the reduced scale instead of 0-100. They went to like 0-40 or so. I hear the new Nox machines have the 0-100 scale like the X-Terra Pro. So it looks like the main claim on the Elite Gold is better Target ID. As a jewlery hunter anything about a 4-5 is exciting to dig. If your looking for gold chains you'll dig anything above zero. Most will be small foil, but the lower scratching tones can be gold chains.
I haven't seen so far anything worth $200 more over the Pro, big disappointment for me, looks to be just a software upgrade, and what is the multli IQ spread?, just reads 5-15hz??
what numbers is your sensitivity set on? On earlier video with xterra pro same gold bracelet, sounded much better, but the sens was bit higher. Could you check it with higher sens to see if it would sound better? It would seem pro hits smaller jewelry chains etc. better than elite
SHOCKING HOW YOUR ALMOST TOUCHING THE COIL WITH ALL THOSE GOLD RINGS TO EVEN GET A SIGNAL LOL WHY I STICK TO MY NOX 800 SHOCKING HOW GOLD LOOSES AFTER 6 INCHES IN MOST MACHINES.SAME ID AS THE NOX 600/800/900
IN CASE YOU DIDN'T WATCH CLOSELY, I AM IN MY GARAGE AND MY SENSITIVITY IS TURNED DOW TO SOMETHING LIKE 11, THAT MAY HAVE A LOT TO DO IT and I'M PRETTY SURE THIS MACHINE WASN'T MADE TO COMPETE WITH THE 800. I BELIEVE THE NOX 700 and 900 ARE UPGRADES TO YOUR 800 MY FRIEND. Thanks for the comment.
