Thanks Luke! Now I can relax, All last Friday evening, whilst we were all chatting away, And you were saying things about great news, and I was anxiously awaiting this great news, on the night. But It never came! Huh! I thought to myself, what's going on. Now I understand! Congratulations on the new job, I'm very glad to here it! Just don't look out the windows on beautiful day's and think about detecting, you'll only be torturing yourself! This vid makes me want to go and buy a new detector, And then going back over my best hunting grounds. Thanks Luke, Excellent news! Cheers!
Hi there @waynearmstrong5233 this is some of the exciting news shared in tonight's video...however there is also more yet to come and maybe even more exciting than the new job😉 We will get to that soon though I'm sure mate🙂 Thankfully I have no windows in the office to glance out, and when I walk out to my car for lunch...it's all tractors i see🤣 That new Elite is seriously impressive too, we have lots of work to do on those days off picking over old sites👌 Cheers heaps Wayne🤝👍⛏️
Thanks for sharing another great adventure Luke. Congrats on the new job if anybody deserves it ,it is you for what you have gone through in the past year. Some nice finds coming out of the ground thanks to the x terra elite. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍🤜🤛
Thanks so much @JosipKolenik what a ripper day hunting this was mate. I won't lie, it has been a tough year but also funny how things can change and turn around in life. That is yet to come. All I will say though us 2024 has been challenging but also our biggest ever year at D.I.D😉 Cheers so much again mate. I look forward to sharing more soon👍👍⛏️
Thank you so much @canberroo2509 that is very kind of you mate. I reckon with a bit of muscle memory doing things repeatedly, I will pick up the run of this new job pretty quick smart🙂 I just need to get used to the change of pace and drinking more coffees 😅 Cheers heaps again mate, take care until the next👍👍⛏️
Great good news, Luke! Super the job is a keeper! Looking forward to awaiting the even more good news videos coming up, and, out of necessity for any spoilers, avoiding the comments, until after the credits roll! Stay well, cheers again! G.
Thanks so much @gabivalla6279 a nice cruisy job is not something I am used to but I will have to learn now😆 I thought they would put me on the tools for sure. There are plenty more exciting videos to come very soon. One in particular that I'm itching to drop😊⛏️ Stay tuned...👀
A super fun little hunt this one @walterscrap767 and great to be testing out the Elite and Coiltek coil combo whilst there. I reckon we need to revisit all our old sites again for future now and hit them hard! Cheers heaps to mate, great to be back working and funding more for future🙂👍⛏️
Thanks heaps @lisar8347 what a fantastic day this was detecting! New finds at an old well worked site with a new machine. It doesn't get any better🙂 Now I need to recheck all my old permissions again to see what I've missed😊⛏️
A bit of fun to be had on this hunt @MrPaulie1456 I can't believe just how much we hit on with the new Elite to! Just amazing👌 Cheers heaps mate, should keep me out of trouble when not detecting😉🙂⛏️👍
Thanks heaps for the mention @markmcintosh329 hopefully there is a few videos on the Elite to help lots out there now mate. Cheers heaps to mate. I'm not used to a cushy job but I could see myself getting used to it quite quickly👌🙂👍🤝
A larger coil would be perfect for this site as well @ThomasHarrison-y9n, but mainly when working the outer perimeters around where the old farm house used to sit. The smaller coils though definitely have more of an advantage to use when hunting right on top of the house site itself. Just due to the amount of built-up targets there is within the ground. A smaller coil only covers a smaller surface area, therefore allowing the coil to individualise and separate between multiple targets at once. Compared to a larger coil, sweeping over and having to pick up and ID so much more at once, being a larger surface diameter. I like to refer to smaller coils as the sniper coils because they truly don't miss a thing! I have other videos showing just how good small coils can be, especially over sites I have well and truly worked before with large coils. Best of luck and happy hunting out there for future👍⛏️
Thanks so much once again @TheCoffeeBushKid a nice cushy cruisy job that will suit me fine over the years I'm sure mate. I just need to get used to drinking more coffees and absorbing the heaters warmth😉 A tough spot! Cheers heaps again Andrew🤝⛏️
Thanks heaps @thegoldrushguy I didn't think I would land such a cushy cruisy job like this. Now I just need to get used to the change of pace...☕️ 😄 Cheers heaps👍👍
Thanks so much @jeffholmes1362 I am about 2 months in now since shooting this video and loving life mate. A cushy easy job, I just need to adjust to the slower pace😄 Amazing at just what the Elite hit on at this well worked site. To see all those coins come out was just phenomenal. Elite wins hands down so far👌👌👌 Cheers heaps for watching Jeff, take care until our next adventure mate👍👍🤝⛏️
@@DigItDetecting I guess jobs like that are about being accurate, not fast. Hope you enjoy it. Do you think you’ll go back to the Nox or is the elite the future for you?
@jeffholmes1362 100% mate, I just cruise along and double check all my work as I go. I love the Elite, but will definitely be back on the 900 again for future hunting mate. Plus plenty more work to do on that awesome 6000😉👌👍
Thanks heaps @idigthat73 its pretty amazing at just how much the other machines had missed at this site. The Elite sniffed them out no worries though👌 Definitely due for a catch up soon mate, can't wait🤝⛏️
Hi there @aussie571detecting Adrian. Thanks heaps for watching this latest dig mate. The new Xterra Elite is seriously impressive to run and use. Amazing at just what it found that other machines missed. Spare parts job is quite the challenge to, but a lot of fun🙂 Cheers heaps again Adrian👍👍🤝⛏️
Thank you so much @juliekala4372 it is a fantastic job to have landed I just have to get used to the slower pace physically. However lots to learn working those computers😊 Thanks so much again for your wonderful support as always😊
A great result with the X-Terra Elite on a well hunted site Luke. The coiltek 10 x 5 coil was always one of my favorites before I changed to the Manticore . Hope you're enjoying the new job.Cheers👍
A real good bit of fun on this day @DetectingOz and that Elite once again was cleaning up the missed coins! Just amazing that machine is👌 Especially with the coiltek 10x5. A perfect combo for sure 100%. Cheers heaps to Gary, a nice easy job will suit me fine. Just lots to learn and remember🙂
Wow congratulations @FindWithDavid that is so awesome to hear mate 👏👏 I am absolutely certain that once you switch it on and give it a first run, you will be hooked. Just remember to concentrate on those higher tones/numbers and signals to get the coins. Silver, copper, brass etc. And everything else...lower numbers, tones. Just dig if you're feeling up to it as lower numbers can often be gold rings and jewellery etc...especially if hunting the beaches👌 Best of luck and happy digging out there for future mate🤝👍⛏️
Hey mate love your videos got me back into detecting! going to purchase the elite.. was just wondering if you could possibly do up a simple target ID chart? maybe post a video on it if you do one 😊 cheers keep up the good Work mate.
Hi there @andrewjones8694 thanks so much mate. It's so good to hear that my videos are inspiring others out there to get out and enjoy! The Elite is an absolutely brilliant machine too pick up and use too. I have made TID cards available for the Equinox 600/800 and also the Equinox 700/900 but not yet the Manticore or Elite. However the Equinox 700/900 TID numbers are exactly the same as the new Elite, which makes it handy. I will in future make up some proper Elite & Manticore TID cards though and share👍 Cheers heaps again Andrew, happy digging mate🙂⛏️
Great video as always Luke. Congrats on the job☺. I also run a 10x5 Coiltek on my Nox. Best coil ever! Do you consider the X-terra Elite has any advantage over the Nox?
Thanks heaps @davidcoote4831 a cruisy cushy job now I'm getting older will suit me fine I reckon. I just need to get used to the slower pace of working😄 A great coil the little 10x5 I just love running it on the Elite and Nox range. I also don't feel that the Elite has an advantage over the new Equinox 700/900 although seems to run very similar and hit on those targets just as good and deep. Coming from the older 600/800 Equinox though, I feel the Elite is well above them both and most definitely worth upgrading if financially able to. I really hope that helps. Cheers heaps again David. Happy digging mate👍👍⛏️🤝
Hi there @theyorkshirelad. Thanks so much for watching mate. Below is a video to hopefully help you setup and use your Xterra Elite plus avoid the rust a little more. Best of luck👍 th-cam.com/video/tdcW40wr4jo/w-d-xo.html
I couldn't agree more @mazdaram226 I am not getting any younger and the past 23 years working I've been tough on my body at different jobs. I do miss being on the tools, but can keep busy enough at home doing that now. Thanks so much for watching, I am so glad you are enjoying all our videos🙂🙂👍⛏️
Well well well, another vid on the xterra making me want to get one even though i probably don't need it 😂 may have to get one for Michelle and use it myself haha.
Haha sorry @Working925detecting although I think you may be onto something there mate. Claim it's for Michelle and then you can sneak off to use it when she's working😉..a perfect plan in my mind. We'll worth the money and they are fantastic to run. Best of luck mate, see you on the next🤝🙂👍⛏️

I think it's great. Although some of the stitching is starting to fall apart up the top with the netting. That is only due to the amount of rubbish I collect some days detecting and put in the top pouch area. I mainly love the pinpointer holder👌
Thanks so much @laviniawoollard2223 a ripper new job to have and company to work for. I'm not sure about putting any Weight on though...I'll burn that off when out detecting for sure😄⛏️
@mickpapa72 the Equinox 900 is still a step above the Xterra Elite. Extra settings, modes etc...Although a price difference to go with it aswell. The new Elite for its low cost is a brilliant machine and I'm sure will hit on most of everything the 900s will. Happy digging👍⛏️
