How do you adjust the blank on the lathe when you already have the prong hammered in?

What did you use for glue and what was that spray?

We used both Thin & Thick Insta-Bond CA glues. The spray is an activator (Also Insta-Bond brand) that sets the glue almost instantly.

What's the diameter of this bowl? I want to specifically make natural edge bowls but wondering what size swing is average for bowl turning thanks.

Most natural edge bowls are about 10-12" in diameter. You'll need at least a 12" swing to handle average sized bowls. I believe the bowl in this video is about 8-10". Thanks for the comment :)

It looked, to my untrained eye, like your bowl was turned mostly green. Am I wrong? I've not turned a live edge bowl. It sure looks like something worth learning.

I was thinking the same thing. I would be interesting to see what the pith looks like now years later after it had dried an cracked...

To have the best chance of the bark staying on, make sure your log or blank was harvested in the winter when the sap isn't running.

Don’t cut downhill if you want a good finish. The grain is not supported

Is that just a sanding attachment on a power drill?
